Sohee hugged her knees tightly as she glanced at the two doctors staring at her quietly. She bit her nails nervously, a habit that took place when she knew that she can't process her emotions properly. She blinked quietly as she sighed to herself as she didn't feel properly ready to spill all the secrets that she harbored to herself.
The doctors left her room as her parents also were leaving the room so that she can talk with Taehyung and Jungkook. Gyuri would be arriving soon as well so that she can help calm Sohee calm down. She bitterly cried to herself before the two officers came into her room.
Donghyuck placed his hands against his forehead as he grunted in annoyance as he couldn't contain his anxiety that was rising. The silence was eating both of them alive as she was sitting on Donghyuck's bed as he couldn't believe his own ears. She turned around to face him as she screamed loudly with tears, "Tell me what you think! Stop just sitting there."
Donghyuck stood up to throw his phone to the side as he angrily screamed back, "What should I fucking say?!"
He pushed her onto the ground as he was getting riled up pretty quickly. She did all her best to fight him back but he managed to hit her against the face as it all happened without even thinking. All stopped as Sohee touched her own face in surprise as he never treated her this way.
Donghyuck stood up quickly and backed away with an apologetic groan as Sohee sat up slowly as she gripped onto her cheek. He approached her again super slowly as he apologized over and over again, "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry."
She didn't back away from him since she knew immediately that it was something that happened out of the ordinary. She knew that he didn't mean any of it. For a moment, they both didn't want to agree to it. The tears didn't stop falling down as she was still shaking from the aftereffects.
He slowly hugged her in his embrace as he shakily held her close to his chest as he apologized continuously, "I'm sorry. Please forgive me."
She didn't reply back as they embraced each other tightly as Donghyuck glanced at the pregnancy test that was a few feet from them. Sohee also realized that Donghyuck's gaze wasn't focusing on her anymore. She blinked the tears away as she tightly clung onto Donghyuck for support as he rested his forehead against hers as if it was to help coax the pain that was said between them.
"Do you want to keep it?"
"I don't know..do you?"
Donghyuck and Sohee were both still holding each other tightly as the night got darker as she finally calmed down as they both managed to find their sanity after resting. She rolled her eyes quietly as Donghyuck was not giving the clear answer that she wished he can. It was their baby. And none of them felt the reality of it.
Gyuri managed to get her tired state out of mind as the caffeine running in her system from her coffee really helped her. She turned a corner as she walked over to find the room that Sohee was in. Jungkook already notified her that she wasn't speaking at all, so they needed Gyuri to come and talk with her.
Yohan accompanied her when they ate together and when she got back home, only to barely get some sleep then drink some coffee. She looked over to Taehyung sitting down so that they can help investigate it together. They already got Sihyeon's somewhat approval to talk to Sohee since she knew she can't go against what Taehyung said since he convinced her to say yes.
Sohee nervously grabbed her blankets tightly as she was super worried with what was happening. She closed her eyes as she felt her hands continuing to tremble before Gyuri walked over to her quietly as she took a deep breathe without saying much. She rested her hand over Sohee's as she wanted to hold it carefully as if she was a gentle doll.
Taehyung sat in the corner as he just watched quietly without saying much. She took a deep breathe as Taehyung was just mindlessly played on his phone as he wanted to somewhat not stay part of the conversation since he knew that Sohee might feel uncomfortable.
Gyuri took a deep breathe once more as she faced Sohee, who was too ashamed to lift her head. "I was once...in your position."
That's when the walls between everyone broke simply like it was glass. You would be able to hear a pin drop loudly within the shadows, and you would be able to hear it extremely clearly. She looked over at the officer before asking quietly, "What do you mean?"
"I was once in your shoes...in that bed....with no one to lean on."
Sohee listened quietly and carefully as she was not exactly sure of what was to happen as she felt somewhat as ease. The story-telling was not definitely easy to describe the emotions that she was going through. Taehyung froze in his tracks as he tried to not pay too close attention to what was being said since he never volunteered.
"I wasn't in the right mind when I was in high school as well. I thought I loved someone so much....that I trust my life to them. Eventually, he never had the strength..."
Sohee gasped quietly under her breathe as Gyuri took another deep breath as her heart continued to race uncomfortably and painfully. She fastened her hand with the other as she quietly whispered, "How did you-"
"I...decided to do the same thing....and it made me feel even more guilty than I ever did because I thought it was all my fault...but it's not.. it's not your fault."
Sohee broke down into tears as she started to hear his voice whispering once more as she shook her head violently to calm herself down. Gyuri quickly wrapped her arms around her as she tried to calm the other down quietly so that there would be less panics. Gyuri managed to calm Sohee's breathing as Taehyung was attempting to leave the room since he really didn't know how to react to all of this.
But Sohee swallowed the forming lump in her throat as she wiped the tears down her face as she gained enough strength to dryly speak up quietly, "I...will reveal...what my side...of the story looked like...."
