"Girl, I barely get to see you now."

Jisun teased gently as she was fully aware that Gyuri was barely getting any sleep as she was cracking the code to her case. Jisun's date with Gyuri had to be cancelled numerous times as she was often working either at the station or at the school. Gyuri tiredly waved off her comment as Jisun shook her head with a disappointing expression, "First, my boyfriend blew me off this weekend since we were supposed to go on a luxurious Bali trip. Now my best friend barely contacts me. You know how lonely I've been."

"Please stop whining before I remove your mouth."

"Sheesh, you got even more colder than before. The case must be super bad."

Gyuri rubbed her eyes as she nodded with a yawn as Jisun handed her a spoon as she invited her tired, best friend over for breakfast. Gyuri was sniffing to herself since she felt like she was coming down with a cold as she was restlessly working on the report all night for the past two days. Because Sihyeon denied her to meet with the other students, she needed a backup plan to talk with her members on figuring out a plan to get the students to come to her instead.

Jisun groaned at the sight of her friend being a living corpse as she repeatingly said, "This is why I never became a police officer...or worked in the investigating side. This is why working in the fashion industry is much less stressful!"

Gyuri bashed at her as she responded sarcastically, "If you call starving every other meal except for lunch a great job to be a model then sign me up."

Jisun made a face as she replied back angrily, "I invited you for breakfast and made you food. Shut up. You should be lucky that I'm even eating with you today."

The sunlight was warming up the house as Gyuri felt regret hitting her face as she apologized with a tired sigh as she picked up her spoon, "I know..I'm sorry. I just didn't get much sleep, and you know how I feel when I can't eat or sleep."

"You turn into someone else for sure. An ugly side of you."

Gyuri smiled weakly in defeat as she started eating the food that her friend prepared for her. It was one of the days that she really wished for a day off because the case itself was so secretive and difficult to pry into. No one really understood the pain unless they actually stood at the battleground. The afternoon sun was slowly arriving as she left Jisun's place after getting dessert and resting for an hour before she made her way back to the station. She knew it was a fail to enter into the school today as well as Jimin shook his head right when she walked in.

Yoongi was falling asleep as he was chewing gum to keep himself awake ironically. Jungkook was busily calling people for a different case that he was assigned as Jimin was working double loads. Gyuri organized her reports that she was submitting late, again, as she trudged her way over to Taehyung's office as she gently knocked on the door and waited for his response.

He allowed her in, and she yawned to herself as he was checking over the reports. Taehyung noticed right away as he was disappointed even more as he spoke up harshly, "Does sleep even come to you easily? Can't you get your head into the case properly?"

Agitated, Gyuri glared at him as she grunted in response before she left the office. Taehyung scoffed annoyingly as he couldn't believe his own eyes. Gyuri was acting like a totally different person which was making him super uncomfortable as he wanted to yell at her even more. He was about to get up from his chair, but a call interrupted him as he cleared his throat to calm himself down before answering it.

Jimin widened his eyes as Gyuri slammed her report folder down on the table, and this makes Yoongi wake up instantly as he stood up, yelling, "Don't put your pants down!"

Everyone...as in everyone, in the station looked at Yoongi as he was opening his eyes before realizing his mistake. He coughed into his arm before bowing apologetically as Jungkook was holding in his laughter as he whispered, "Whose pants?"

Yoongi ended up throwing a water bottle at him so that he would stop teasing as Jimin bit his lip in hopes that Gyuri might reveal what happened. But she kept her mouth shut as she typed furiously on her computer as Yoongi realized who made him wake up. He waved his hand at Jimin so that he can mouth the words, "Is she crazy now?"

Jimin shrugged his shoulders as Jungkook hung up the call that he was on so that he can try and save the mood within the team. But whatever he said, Gyuri let it straight go out the other ear as she was not in the mood to be bothered. She was a total beast when she got no sleep and barely any food into her system. "Maybe coffee might cheer her up?"

A suggestion that was made by Seokjin as he entered the area as all the members stood up to bow to her respectively. All except Gyuri. Yoongi was basically whispering and yelling at her at the same time but Seokjin waved his hand so that he would stop. He smiled with satisfaction as he said with bitterly, "I remember when I had to work this difficult on a case that involved a lot of  money. Only to realize that the answer was right in front of me all along."

This caught Gyuri's attention as she finally noticed Seokjin's being as she stood up to bow respectively at him. He waved it off as he tried to kindly remark, "I heard you are working extremely hard for this case that Taehyung is also in charge of."

"Yes sir...."

"Good......well now I suggest that you don't go to the school for awhile but rather look over the facts with Taehyung so that you can get the right information when you get the chance to enter the school once more. Sometimes looking over the evidence from the start can help you figure out what went wrong, and who was the actual culprit of the case the entire time. From what I've been seeing, you guys are looking at the wrong person...it seems like a collaboration rather than just one person. Start with something basic before diving into something smaller. I'm sure Namjoon has taught you to look at the bigger picture, but me being in this business for a long time, I suggest you look at each person before coming to a decision."

Those words became Gyuri's hope to crack the puzzle even more as this woke her up instantly than any caffeine that she consumed in the past 24 hours.
