"You're trying to force a warrant with us when we already have a lawyer that said no."
The principal folded his hands quietly as he stared back quietly at Gyuri, who was passionate on getting the answers she deserved. She refused to leave the office since she threw the warrant basically at the principal's face as he couldn't refuse it. She scoffed under her breath before replying back, "This is a violation. If you don't cooperate, we have the right to arrest you."
Sihyeon walked in quickly into the office as the principal sighed in relief since he knew that Sihyeon would help him out. But he got an unwelcoming response from her as Sihyeon smiled while politely saying, "Yes. I don't have anything to say. You may investigate the case. We just need an active police officer since you don't have the full commissions to do so."
Taehyung barged into the office despite the secretary stopping him from doing so. Gyuri was a little shocked since she remembered Taehyung sleeping in his office. Was it all a hoax? Or did he get contacted by Sihyeon? Whatever the case was, Taehyung confidently replied back, "I am the officer in charge. You don't have to worry about a thing, Lawyer Kim."
The principal was at a loss of words since his own lawyer betrayed him so that the students could be investigated properly. He tried to notify the school board, but Taehyung stopped him from doing so since he knew that the students who caused this mess would have escaped by now. Sihyeon let the two roam around the school as the principal angrily yelled in protest, "What the hell are you doing?!"
"I would have never accepted the job if I found out that you were using the money from bribes for your own benefit. The students here are as crooked as you are, and they need to be fixed before they end up like a monster...like you."
She took out an envelope of money as she held it up confidently with some other paperwork that she retrieved from the principal awhile back, "I already have the evidence on my side for you and some of the board members. Kwon Soonyoung, Eunbin's father, is going to be charged for money laundering and also abusing his powers to hide the sins of his daughter. Na Hyunmin, Jaemin's father, would also be charged for the same thing. You think that I was going to easily accept this offer when I didn't know the real reason why you wanted to hide these students. No, this is the tip of the iceberg. The more you reject, the more reasons to report you to the higher courts to investigate for you suspicious actions from the past."
Sihyeon smirked with confidence before flipping her hair as she turned her head to the side as she whistled loudly. As a sign, numerous people entered the room as they were pushing their ways into the office to retrieve documents without the principal realizing it. He protested with all he could, but Sihyeon responded with a smug expression, "I think people with high powers forget to investigate the fact that I graduated from Police University, and I do uphold the powers to arrest someone since the court allowed me to pursue both law and police force. You weren't aware of this since it wasn't in my resume, I assume. I had all the rights to either work under you or report you, which I believe I did the fantastic job of doing both for the right reason."
The principal was at a loss of words as two officers entered into the room with handcuffs so that the principal would be taken out of the office with the proper care of making sure he doesn't escape. "I, Kim Sihyeon, am arresting you for hiding the murder of a young student, and also placing false lies on him for something he didn't do. You may call a different lawyer and have the right to remain silent...but I don't really recommend you do that since we already have all the evidence we need to get you arrested."
"You already....have all the evidence?"
Gyuri blinked confusingly as she was approached by Sihyeon in front of the school before she could barge into the principal's office. Sihyeon nodded confidently before replying back with a smile, "Why do you think I had to put on an act? I already knew what the school was doing, but I needed to collect all the evidence I need so that you guys can just interrogate once they're in the station."
Gyuri was in awe of how powerful Sihyeon was as she handed the envelopes into Gyuri's hands. The school barely opened as all the students were in class, and the warm weather really helped Gyuri feel more hopeful about closing the case. She glanced at the school before turning her attention back at Sihyeon, who was texting on her phone for a few seconds.
"Why are you doing this?"
"Did Taehyung not tell you?"
"Tell me-?"
"I also work on the police force. I know it's not very common but I decided to work in both fields. I know it's kind of sketchy but I often do handle cases myself when I realize that the evidence that they provide seems false or they use me to just to cover up their crimes. I didn't want to be a lawyer who gets money for covering up crime. Sometimes I am not able to do both since the court realizes that it is unfair in a sense that the freedom of privacy, speech, and such get in the way. So I only tend to use my police officer skills when cases like these get in the way of trying to find a fair reason to be a lawyer."
Taehyung was not wrong when he had started to develop a crush on Sihyeon. She was honorable and had integrity to do the right thing without getting her personal wishes in the way. Gyuri was quite impressed as Sihyeon seemed less cocky but more honorable and respectful. She cleared her throat as she asked curiously, "Then what are you doing here?"
"I'm here to arrest the principal. You do your part in getting the students who caused the mess since you are not working with handling those who covered up these acts. Don't falter nor make the kids feel nervous since I know word will spread around quickly that the ones in charge got arrested. Just keep your head high, and you make sure to have all the suspects confess to their crimes."
