The room was filled with everyone talking about their new accomplishments from training and how Adam would never stand a chance against them now. It's all everyone did for the past several days, but the main buzz was about how Kimberly made a metal wall into a ball. Everyone was curious to how she did it except Mercy, Calvin, Jake, and Paris.
"Aren't you guys even a small bit afraid of how powerful she is. Everything has matter which means she can control everything. Power like that can go to someone's head quick," Mercy said
"I agree with Mercy. This is too much power for one person. I say we limit her training," Calvin said.
"So you don't trust me, is what your saying," Kimberly said with hurt in her voice.
"Well you were once a partner with the enemy. You could have been putting on a show just waiting for your chance to strike," Mercy said with spite.
"If I was, you would have already been dead by now and what happened in the past is staying there. I would never go back to Adam and his organization. My allegiance lays here and I would never use my power against any of you. So if you think limiting my powers is the answer then fine do that, but know that it is pointless and just rude," Kimberly said then stormed out of the room. Randolph followed her outside.
"I can't believe them," Kimberly said pacing, "Did you ever think I was too powerful with being able to control matter?"
"No. I saw power, but never as something I should be concerned about. I guess they don't trust you like I do," Randolph replied with a smile. Kimberly smile and began walking to him when they heard what sounded like a motorcycle coming fast. They couldn't recognize the person, but if he wasn't an elemental then he couldn't get in and if he was then he was welcome here. They watched as he got closer until he was at the shield and watched him drive through and straight to them. They stood their ground as he got closer, then Kimberly felt and hand grab as the person went by her.
"Let go of her," Randolph shouted to the person. Kimberly fought to get out of the person's grip, but it was strong then Kimberly remember that grip. Adam. He stopped the bike and then hit her hard enough to knock her out. He turned to Randolph and removed his helmet.
"I have been wanting to fight you since you ruined my night and now I can," Adam said igniting a flame in his hand.
"I see your an elemental," Randolph said trying not to show his concern since fire is his weakness.
"Just temporarily," he said, "But enough talk." He then threw a fireball at him. Randolph dodged it with ease and then threw a metal spear at him. Adam engulfed it in flames and watched it melt with a laugh.
"Too easy," he said then charging toward Randolph. Randolph made a metal fist and got ready to hit Adam, but Adam grabbed his hands and melted the metal. This started to burn Randolph's hand. Randolph groaned in pain, but didn't back down. Adam smiled then delivered a kick to his gut that sent Randolph fling back. Adam then went back to his bike and put his helmet on. He saw everyone else to come out and decided to go. He grabbed Kimberly and took off.
"What just happened?" Wayne said to Randolph "Who was that?"
"Adam and he has Kimberly," Randolph said while trying to caught his breath.
"I will go get her," Ethan said.
"Wait, he has fire powers and you would only make him more powerful if you fight him," Randolph said, "I think it's time we put a battle plan together to end this once and for all before anything else happens. Randolph began to stand, but his hands made it hard. Wayne saw it and said,
"Here, let me heal them. New talent I have now." It didn't take long before Randolph's hands were healed from their burns. They then headed to the building to plan.

                                                                                              *
Adam drove until Kimberly started to come to then he stopped at a hotel. Adam put the handcuffs on her and brought her to there room. Kimberly moaned in pain and grabbed her head.
"Welcome back," Adam said with a smirk.
"Did you really have to hit me," she said.
"Well I couldn't take any chance of you trying to kill me while fighting your boyfriend," he said looking at her.
"Well what do you want from me?" she asked impatiently.
"Oh just you. It will always be you, but this time you won't leave me," he said still smiling.
"What makes you so sure?" she asked hoping he having something stupid planned.
"Well once we are back at the headquarters there is a potion waiting for you that will make you evil. You will still be you, but just evil like you were when we were together. You will fight your friends and thinks to the training you have had, it shouldn't be hard to kill them. Plus I will help too. I have a potion that will let me have all the elementals powers in one body," he said while entertaining a flame in his hand. Kimberly was confused at first with his flame, but it clicked that he must have used a potion for that. Kimberly tried to get free of the handcuffs, but failed. Her powers weren't working.
"I see the handcuffs work well. Randolph's parents sure know their stuff," he said picking up the remote and turning through the channels. Kimberly sighed and sat down on the other side of the couch. She began looking for exits, but had no luck. She did notice that it was night though which made her tired. There was only one bed which didn't surprise her.
"I am going to bed," she said getting up.
"Sleep well," Adam said with his eyes glued on the TV. Kimberly drew back the covers and got into bed. It wasn't long before she fell asleep.
