That night everyone watched as Randolph, Paris, Ethan and Wayne set out to retrieve Rachelle. With the two main peace keepers gone Tarah began to worry that something bad might happen while they were away. When it was time for her to sleep, she couldn't. She was worried about Wayne and that Mercy and Kristopher would cause a lot of trouble while he and Randolph were gone. After a few minutes of sitting in her bed, she deicide to go outside and get some fresh air. After walking around for a little bit, Tarah found Kimberly sitting by herself.
"What are you doing out here by yourself?" Tarah asked. Kimberly turned around, smiled, and said,
"I can't sleep. I am going to take a good guess you can't either."
"Yeah," replied Tarah, "What is keeping you up?"
"Honestly, the fact that I can't remember anything about myself. I should have remembered something by now, but I haven't," said Kimberly. Tarah sat down beside her and said,
"I am sure your memory will come back to you."
"Thanks. You're such a nice person," Kimberly said with a smile.
"So are you," Tarah said back to her. After a few minutes of silence, Kimberly asked,
"So why can't you sleep?"
"Well one, I am worried about Wayne and two I am afraid that Kristopher and Mercy will be biting at each other's heels," replied Tarah.
"Ah. Well I am sure Wayne will be fine. He knows what he is doing and the whole Kristopher and Mercy thing, we can work together to keep them from fighting. I am sure Liam would be willing to help too," said Kimberly as she patted Tarah on the back," By the way how are thing between you and Wayne?"
"Great. I so glad I could meet him. He is kind, sweet, handsome, and everything I want in a guy," said Tarah as she pictured Wayne's face. Kimberly started to giggle.
"Hey what's so funny!" Tarah said.
"Nothing really, just the way you talk about him. You are in love with him. I can tell," Kimberly said still giggling. Tarah paused for a second then started laughing and said,
"I guess I am." Suddenly, Kimberly quite laughing and sat there frozen.
"Kimberly, are you okay?" Tarah asked in a concerned voice. Kimberly didn't answer.
"Kimberly can you hear me?" Tarah repeatedly asked until finally Kimberly said,
"A memory just came back to me."
"Good or Bad?" Tarah asked.
"Bad," replied Kimberly.
"Do you mind telling me what it was?" Tarah asked.
"I was in my house and a knock came at my door. I opened the door and there was a guy standing there. He said he was for the Government and he needed my help. So, I let him in. He began to explain about people called Elementals that the Government was trying to kill. He asked me to look for them and spy on them, if I would find any, and he would come back in a few days to check on me. I agreed. He left and then the memory ended," Kimberly told Tarah.
"So you are a Government spy," stated Tarah.
"I guess I am, but know that I know I am an Elemental I don't want to work for them anymore," said Kimberly. Kimberly then yawned and said,
"I think it's time I hit the hay."
"Me too," replied Tarah. So, they walked back to their houses and went to sleep.
Calvin woke up. I was time to put the sun in the sky. Knowing that Mercy liked to watch him. So, he went over to her house to wake her up. When he entered his house, he found Mercy asleep. He walked over to her and whispered in her ear,
