The morning arrived and everyone made themselves ready to leave. Nerves and excited were alive in each person. After the supplies was gathered for the journey everyone set off. This was it. A war between elementals and brains was about to happen. Randolph did everything he could to keep everyone in a positive mood though he was worried about what lay ahead for them.
"Hey don't worry about this, everything will be okay," Wayne said to Randolph with a pat on the back. Randolph smiled. Wayne then went back to Tarah and grabbed her hand saying,
"We can win this." Tarah smiled and replied,
"I know." Wayne then kissed her hand with a smile. Leann looked at Liam and rolled her eyes. Liam laughed. Leann was glad she could go into this battle with no string attached with someone. She had never had or ever wanted love. She was here to win a war and kill anyone who stood in her way.

They continued walking until the sun started to set then the stopped for the night. Erinn and Leann went out to do their job while everyone made camp for the night. Kristopher choose to take the first watch. He watched as the stars began to appear in the sky. Erinn had a beautiful way for placing the stars and making them shine.
"You like them?" a voice said. Kristopher turned to see Erinn standing behind him.
"Yes, they reflect the beauty of their maker," Kristopher said while patting the ground to invite Erinn to sit. Erinn blushed and sat down beside him. Kristopher pulled her in close and stroked her hair. Erinn leaned into him and asked,
"Are you afraid?"
"Yes. I am afraid of losing you. I don't think I could live without you," he replied.
"Then promise we stick together in this fight," Erinn said looking at him.
"Promise," he replied firmly. They spent the rest of the time in silence while scanning the area every few minutes until Ethan and Rachelle came to take the next sift.

Ethan and Rachelle sat down. Rachelle could tell he was thinking about the war even without reading his mind.
"Ethan it will be okay," Rachelle said calmly.
"I know, but I have never fought in a war before and I feel jumpy and nervous. Just look at my hair and hands. They keep sparking," Ethan said shifting uncontrollably. Rachelle grabbed his hand and his slowly started to calm down.
"No one ever wants to fight, but you do it for what you believe in. Don't think about it as killing people. Think of it as just fighting for something you love. No one said you had to kill anyone," Rachelle said softly.
"How is it you always know the right things to say," Ethan said with a smile. Rachelle smiled and said,
"I just can." Ethan gave her a quick kiss and then returned to scanning the area until morning came.

Jake returned from putting the light in the sky to find Paris waiting for him.
"Ready to kick some Government butt?" She asked while slightly shoving him.
"Of course. I bet I will get more kills than you," he replied confidently.
"You are on then," she said with a laugh, "Prepare to lose."
"Yes, I am sure you will need too," he said with a smirk. Paris gasped then lightly punched his arm. Jake laughed then grabbed her and pulled her into a kiss.
"I love you," he said after releasing the kiss.
"I love you too," she said while blushing.

Calvin went to find Mercy after returning from putting the sun in the sky. He found her playing with her fire. He slowly walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her. Mercy smiled and said,
"You really need to do better at sneaking up on people." Calvin smirked then whispered in her ear,
"Please have mercy on me." Calvin then began to kiss her neck. Mercy turned to face him and said,
"Promise me you won't die."
"I promise," he said looking at her then he kissed her. Mercy grabbed his shirt began to pull it up when Calvin stopped her saying,
"We can't do that here. Everyone will see us. Follow me." They both got up and started for the woods when they heard Randolph call them for breakfast.
"Do you think they would notice if we didn't show up," Calvin said.
"Yes, they would," she said with a laugh, "Come on. We can finish this later." They walked back to where everyone was gathered and began to eat quickly. Once everyone was finished, they set out again.

                                                                                             *

Adam and Kimberly sent most of their time in training. Kimberly quickly became very powerful.
"Nothing can stop me," Kimberly said with satisfaction. Adam smiled and said,
"Come with me. I want to show you something." Adam then took her to the lab.
"This is the place where anything can happen, for example, darts with element powers in them, weapons that also have elemental powers in them as well, but that isn't the best part," Adam said then went into a side room.
"Hello Adam, what brings you here today?" Randolph's mother asked.
"I want to show Kimberly my serum," Adam replied. Randolph's mother nodded then call for her husband to bring it out. It wasn't long before he appeared with it. Adam grabbed it and showed it to her saying,
"So much power in one liquid."
"So how many elements did you have to kill for this?" Kimberly asked.
"Well let's just say a lot since we did have a lot of trial and errors, but with the we will easily kill the last of the elementals. You will be the only one left," Adam said with a evil smirk. Kimberly smiled, but couldn't help but think he probably wouldn't let her keep her power.
"Anyway I imagine that your friends won't be too far behind so I suggest we get this place ready for when they arrive. Kimberly nodded and then they left. Adam couldn't wait to see their looks when they saw his serum and how they couldn't stop him. There was no flaws in his plan. It was perfect. It was going to be an easy defeat.
