You were bored out of your mind inside the flower shop. You worked in the shop during the weekend as you were not going to wait till you were broke to regret not working. Usually, you'd see old people, people facing a loss, or those couples who still give each other roses or bouquets (A/N: SIMPS), but today you saw a cute boy your age whom you kind of hoped wasn't someone's boyfriend or husband.
"Hi, my name is Y/N. Need help with finding flowers for a certain occasion?" You said walking up to the guy. The boy looked up from the bouquet of daisies to you, not noticing you, the only other person in the store, were here.
"Oh, hi! I'm here to give my mom some flowers for her birthday. Do you know which ones are best?" He asked a bit shyly. Oh, how his accent made you feel.
"Aww, look at you mama's boy. Well, you can choose between the tulips, more preferably the purple and pink colours, but you can also go with the pink carnations, which I recommend." You chuckled. You were thankful that he laughed and didn't get angry.
"Well, you are the expert here, so I'll go with this bouquet of those pink carnations." He said taking the bouquet up to the register. You typed in the machine and got him to pay. When he was signing the receipt, you noticed that he took a long time, writing more than his signature. He looked to the side and saw the $1 red rose deal. He took one out and handed you a dollar.
"I thought you were just buying a bouquet for your mom?" You asked confused. He then smirked at your question.
"Just wanted to give the pretty one a pretty rose before I go." He said giving you the rose, causing you to blush.
"Aren't you a charmer. Thank you person that I don't know."
"Aren't you lucky, cause you will. Hopefully, I'll see you later Y/N." He said handing me the receipt before waving at me and leaving. Once he left, you looked down and saw that he scribbled his number above his name, Tom Holland. Well, you thought, this will be interesting.
