Broken HopeSaturday, the only day Myles knew he had to himself, the only day of the week he let himself sleep in or sleep all day, eat whenever and whatever. But that soon had changed since he met Christian.
Christian, who was the opposite of everything pertaining a lazy Saturday. While Myles slept in on Saturdays, Christian took a long run and filled the rest of the early morning hours with workouts.
He panted as he came to a halt, sweat dripping off his olive skin as he opened his door and rushing to his room for a quick shower. When he was out, he pulled on some sweatpants and headed to the kitchen, he sat and poured himself a glass of mango juice.
He had woken up as early as five and started on with exercises. It was really the only time he found for it. He sipped on his mango juice as he dialed his phone, calling Myles.
Myles was deep in his sleep when his phone went off ringing, he ignored it, well until it started vibrating way too much. He let out a groan as his body could tell it was still early and certainly not time for him to wake up.
His head still buried in his pillow as he laid stomach flat on his bed, his hair like an Eagle's nest, disheveled to its greatest point. He felt the bed with his hand locating his phone and bringing it to his ear after checking the caller ID.
"I knew you'd still be sleeping by nine in the morning, instead of you to be up," Christian said in place of his greeting.
"Wow dear, I'm happy I'm awake right now," Myles replied monotonously.
"Learn to always wake up early," Christian scolded as he smiled to himself over the phone.
"Noted," he yawned, stretching on his bed.
"How are you?" Christian asked.
"I'm fine, how are you?" He asked back as he adjusted in his bed now laying on his sides facing his window.
"I'm okay, did you sleep well?" Christian played with his glass.
"Yea I did, slept late though," he whispered.
"I thought as much"
"Yea yea, when did you wake up?" Myles asked as he turned again now facing the ceiling.
"By five, I went for a run, didn't want to call you then, I'm not evil." Christian said then added "But you've slept for too long so I decided to wake you"
Myles' face lit up with a soft smile. "I slept for too long and you decided to wake me or I slept for long after you'd been awake for long and you obviously wanted to talk to me?" he teased.
"Must I state the obvious?" Christian grumbled over the phone.
"Wonderfully played"
"Don't forget the museum by eleven." Christian reminded
"I remember. I'll start driving there early enough."
"You're not driving, I'll pick you up." Christian stated sternly.
"Oh"
