Ok, before we start, the whole Sirens not being mermaids thing is 100% true.

Sirens are, in fact, bird-women. don't know where people got the idea that they were mermaids. I think it started with Pirates of the Caribbean or something.

The whole, they breed with merman thing is just something I made up to explain the story.

But yeah, look it up, sirens are in fact, bird-women.

Anyway, back to the story.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Ok, not back to the story, I just realized it has been over a full year since I've updated this. Sorry guys, adult life sucks and I'm barely even classified as an adult.  I'll try to get more updates out on things soon

NOW back to the story

/////////////////

"Bill...you're not a full siren..." Dipper finally said, astonished.

Bill looked up confused.

"What do you mean, of course, I'm not A full siren. I'm a part demon." Bill said.

Dipper shook his head.

"It's more than that. Look." Dipper handed Bill the book.

Bill scanned the page, his eyes going wide.

"So...let me get this straight." Bill began, "I'm a mermaid-"

"Merman"

"Right." Bill said, "Anyway, I'm a merman, siren, and a demon?"

"Right. That is, assuming there isn't something else mixed in there too." Dipper said.

"Don't say that. This is already too complicated. I don't want to think that there's a chance that it's even more complicated." Bill said.

"Do you know what this means though?" Dipper asked.

"No...?" Bill said confused.

"It means we know something Ford doesn't," Dipper said, taking the book back.

"You aren't going to tell him?" Bill asked. Dipper shook his head.

"There's something about him...I don't feel like I can trust him." Dipper said quietly.

"But you trust me?" Bill asked. Dipper paused for a moment.

He did trust Bill.

Was that weird?

He trusted this strange and bizarre creature more than someone who had taken him and his sister in after their parents abandoned them.

"Yeah. I do. But I don't understand why." Dipper admitted. He figured he might as well say it, as he was sure Bill had read it out of his mind.

"If it makes you feel better I trust you a little more than I normally would trust a human," Bill admitted. Dipper looked over and saw Bill avoiding his gaze.

"Why is that?" Dipper asked.

"I'm not sure. Normally I wouldn't trust anyone who I couldn't read their minds, but you are different." Bill said, "I felt like even if I couldn't see through you, you still wouldn't hurt me."

Dipper was quiet, momentarily stunned at the siren's confession.

"You should go. Ford is getting ready to come find you." Bill said.
