Blue Flames

It had been three days since Dabi had visited me. I was grateful for that since I had the opportunity to focus on my work-study and my assignments. It was five in the morning and I had woken up ten minutes ago from yet another bad dream. So I decided to read up on the news since I had nothing better to do. I opened up my computer and browsed the internet. It was the same boring stuff so I decided to do some investigation on different villains. I decided to study the League of Villains and read about the different members. As I was reading up about Toga, I saw Dabi's name linked. I finished reading the article about Toga and then clicked on Dabi's information out of curiosity. I read the little information about him. It appeared that his quirk was called "cremation" so that meant he was able to produce blue flames from his hands. I took note of that just in case I had to fight him again, even though I already knew that information. Then I observed the picture of him on the website. He did look scary, but his eyes were a pretty shade of turquoise. I shivered as I scrolled down and continued to read. Suddenly an alert popped up on my computer. I clicked on it.

"Breaking news, an attack believed to be by the League of Villains on a U.A. training camp has left twenty-seven injured and one missing. Three villains were captured on the scene. More information to come soon."

The news reporter said. I gasped and stood up in disbelief.

"N-no!"

I whispered as I backed up.

It was all my fault!

I turned around and grabbed my phone to text Todoroki.

"Are you okay? I saw the news"

After sending the message, I threw my phone on my bed and ran my fingers through my hair. I had to calm myself down before I accidentally used my quirk. I focused on my breathing and closed my eyes.

"It's just a dream!"

I whispered to myself. Suddenly I heard my phone buzz. I looked over and picked up my phone expecting a notification from Todoroki, but there were no notifications. I gingerly picked up my flip phone and opened it up to see a new text message from "BOSS."

"Hope you're awake, stopping by in five."

I read.

"No, not now!'

I cried. I shut down my laptop and continued to focus on my breathing. I could not lose control! I could not let panic and fear take over!

"One, two, three."

I whispered as I closed my eyes. My fingertips were getting cold.

"Keep it together!"

I whispered as my breathing intensified. My fingers were starting to get even colder.

"Stressed?"

I looked up to see Dabi.

"Y-you almost killed innocent people and kidnapped a student?!"

I shouted as I felt my hands icing up. Dabi grinned.

"No one died though. I don't see what the issue is. Why are you so upset?"

He said coldly. I could feel my arms freezing up.

"You hurt people... all for what?!"

I said. I looked down at my fingers and saw that they were turning blue.

"Trying to get new allies that's all. Information is a powerful weapon and having someone else who attends U.A. Would be extremely beneficial for the League."

Dabi said grinning. He took a step closer.

"You, I-"

I stuttered. I held my hands close to my chest in an attempt to warm them up.
