The door soon flared up in Dabi's blue flames. Dabi kicked the door down and ran inside, Toga followed with knives in both her hands. She had a wicked grin spread across her face. I shivered as I stood outside. I noticed the door was still burning so I quickly shot some ice on it to prevent the fire from spreading. I looked up to see Dabi grinning wickedly as he talked to two men.

Please don't kill them, please don't kill them!

I thought as I observed Dabi talking to them. Suddenly I heard footsteps and a quiet voice speak.

"What are you doing?"

A woman's voice shakily whispered behind me. I turned around to see a woman in her mid-twenties with a bag of groceries in her hand.

"Is this your room?"

I asked as I pointed to it. She nodded.

"Oh ehm, room service?"

I said smiling nervously. She dropped her bag.

"I need to call the police!"

She said as she pulled out her phone. Suddenly instinct took over. I pointed a finger at her phone. A burst of ice escaped from my fingertips knocking the phone out of her hand. It landed on the floor and shattered.

"Please don't do that."

I pleaded. She looked at her frozen phone on the ground then at me. Terror was painted all across her face.

What the hell is this? What am I doing? Why am I acting like a villain? I should have let her call the cops! I don't know why I broke her phone!

I thought to myself as I continued to look at her terrified form. She turned around and started to run.

"Wait no!"

I yelled. In a panic, I quickly knelt and pressed my hands to the floor. Ice spread all across the floor, causing the lady to slip and fall on her back in the process. She rolled over cradling her stomach, a panicked expression across her face. I stood up and pointed my right hand in front of where she was laying down, creating an ice wall right in front of her, blocking her escape.

What are you doing? Stop acting like a villain! Why didn't you let her escape?

My internal voice screamed. The lady turned to face me. It looked like she was about to cry.

"Stop please! My husband is in there!"

She said as she carefully got up from the frozen ground.

Shit! Is she going to attack me?

I thought as I pointed my hands at her.

"You stay there!"

I shouted as I pointed my right hand at her feet. I shot a blast of ice that landed her feet which expanded and froze her up to her waist.

"That should prevent you from attacking me."

I said. She shivered and let out a sob.

"Please don't kill me!"

She begged. I looked at her sympathetically.

"I'm sorry, I have no control over that."

I whispered as I looked at the frozen floor.

"Please! We- we're going to have a baby!"

She pleaded. I looked at her wide-eyed.

Why were we attacking a family? I thought we were attacking a gang?
