I slowly opened my eyes and saw the bright sun outside my window. I sluggishly rolled over and picked up my phone to check the time. It was Saturday and the time was eleven in the morning. I placed my phone down and slowly sat up in my bed. Suddenly the memories from earlier today overflowed my mind.

You're mine.

Dabi's words echoed in my head. What exactly did he mean by that? Was I his puppet, his toy, or  was I perhaps more?

No Eria! Get that thought out of your head, you saw how he treated you yesterday!

Suddenly, another thought came rushing in my head.

"I killed a man! I killed him! I'm basically a villain!"

I whispered to myself as I stood up in a panic. But I stood up a little too quickly, and it caused a wave of dizziness to rush into my head. I fell back onto my bed.

Water!

I thought as I looked at the fridge across from me. I slowly stood up and walked over to the fridge. I opened the door and saw that there was only one bottle of water left, I would have to go buy some later today. I quickly opened the bottle of water and drank half of it. I set the bottle down and sighed. I was still startled that I had killed a man. I was basically a criminal now! I shook the thought from my head and walked to my wardrobe. I grabbed an oversized t-shirt, a sports bra, and some sport shorts. I quickly got dressed and braided my hair. I then slipped on some sneakers and grabbed my flip phone, regular phone, and wallet. I walked out of my room and down the stairs. Everyone was probably in the lounge or out and about.

"Does anyone need anything? I'm going to the store down the street."

I asked.

"No thank you."

My classmates said. I nodded and headed for the door.

"Hey have you guys seen Tamaki, Nejire, or Mirio?"

I asked as I looked at my classmates in the lounge. I hung out with the big three a lot due to all of us being top heroes at the school. We were very close.

"I think they are at their work-studies right now."

Yuki said.

"Wow! This early?"

I asked surprised. Yuki nodded.

"Yeah, it must be very important for them."

She said as she turned back to her phone. I nodded at her then walked out of the dorms. I had to get a permission form from the main building before I could go anywhere. I walked over to the main building then opened the door and headed to the office. When I arrived I grabbed a form and filled it out promptly. When I was done, I walked up to the front desk who was being handled by Midnight today. I smiled at her as I handed her the paper.

"You were out late last night. How did the mission go?"

I smiled.

"It went well. Hawks said I can't really speak about it though. But everything is okay!" I said, putting on a fake smile.

"Well that's good. I'm so proud of how you've developed these past years. Now, don't cause any trouble today!"

She said smiling as she stamped the paper.

"Thank you and I won't!"

I said as I headed out. I exited the campus then started my long walk to the store. After twenty minutes of walking the store was in sight. I opened the door to see a man at the register. I smiled at him as I entered the store, grabbed a basket, and headed down the third aisle to grab water. I grabbed my waters and placed them in the basket.

"Come to think of it, I haven't eaten breakfast yet."

I muttered to myself. I walked down the next aisle and looked at the foods before finally settling on melon bread and milk tea. I grabbed my items and walked to the register to check out. I set the items on the counter and prepared to check out. After I was done I started my long walk home. I sighed as I pulled out my phone to check the news. Of course, there was a report on the captured villain Overhaul. There were also photos of an injured looking Mirio and Tamaki. However, there was another report that made me perplexed. It was about the police escort van carrying Overhaul got hijacked. I clicked on it and read it. Apparently, a burnt corpse of a hero was found as well as both of Overhaul's hands being cut off.

It must have been the van Dabi was talking about him raiding.

I thought as I put my phone away. I approached U.A. and walked to the third year's dorms. I finally arrived and I opened the door to see Nejire on the couch doing some school work.

"Hey I read the news, you okay?"

I asked as I sat next to her. She looked at me and smiled weakly.

"Yeah, but Tamaki has some injuries, and Mirio... he..."

I looked at her worriedly.

"Is he okay? I saw a photo of him while reading the news."

I whispered as I placed my hand on top of hers in an attempt to comfort her. She shook her head no.

"He lost his quirk. They said it was a bullet that had the power to remove quirks permanently."

She said as she wiped some tears from her eyes. I immediately froze. My mind wandered back to when I was trying to get that package from the man.

Is that what Dabi wanted to do with the bullets? To erase people's quirks?

I thought as I hugged Nejire. She sobbed into my shoulder.

"I'm sorry you had to go through all of that."

I whispered. I felt tears stinging my eyes. Those three were always so sweet to me and I admired Mirio because he was able to overcome so much. The tears started falling as Nejire and I sat there for a while. After we had finished crying I looked at her and smiled.

"Want some melon bread?"

I asked as I motioned to the bag. She smiled at me.

"That's very sweet of you but I have to continue working on this mission debrief. Thank you though."

She said as she stood up. I smiled.

"If you need anything, just come to my room okay?"

I said as I grabbed my stuff and stood up. She nodded as she headed off to her room. I headed off to mine. I sighed as I entered my room and sat down. I opened up my melon bread and ate it quietly.

Miro is quirkless now, does that mean the ranks are going to shift? Am I going to be apart of the big three now?

I thought as I took another bite. I felt my phone buzz and I checked it but there were no new notifications. I sighed as I pulled out my flip phone.

BOSS had texted me.

"Your room in five. Make sure to unlock your window."

My heart froze.

"Seriously again? What the heck I thought I was done helping him? And why does he need the window? Doesn't he have Black Mist for that? He's going to get caught."

I muttered to myself. I sighed and took a deep breath. I quickly finished my bread and popped some gum into my mouth to help calm my anxiety. I then stood up and unlocked the window then sat back on my bed. I pulled out my phone and continued to read the news. The opening of my window alarmed me and I looked up. I saw Dabi enter. But right behind him was a blonde-haired girl.

"Eria, I'd like you to meet a friend of mine."

He said grinning wickedly. She peered out from his shoulder with a wicked grin spread across her face.

Is he going to finally kill me?
