Imbes na sumagot ay nagiwas ng tingin si Alice. Sa isang iglap ay Hindi na mabasa ang ekspresyon ng kaniyang mukha, Tila ba sanay na itong magkubli ng totoong nararamdaman.

Was he rushing things? Napaisip bigla si Tyron. Siguro ay mabilis ang nais niyang mangyari, ngunit hindi niya mapigilan ang sarili.

Unang beses niyang magka-gusto sa isang Babae. He couldn't find it in himself to let go of her, More so, because Alice is carrying his— no, their child.

Something is telling him that he can't force the woman in his arms. Hindi basta-bastang babae si Alice at hindi rin basta-basta ang napagdaanan nito. He has to take careful steps, and get her affection first.

Because although he has already been one with her body, he hasn't attained her heart yet.

“It's okay..” Bulong ni Tyron. “You don't have to answer right now.”

Tyron tucked her hair on her ears. “But you will have to answer my proposal, eventually.”

Alice didn't know if it was her mind that was playing tricks with her— but she happened to see the dangerous glint in the doctor's eyes. Hindi niya tuloy alam kung nanunuyo ba ito, o nagbabanta, kinilabutan siya.

“Saan tayo pupunta?” Tanong ni Alice, At sinulyapan si Tyron na nagda-drive.

They rode a white ferrari, and they have been traveling for more than thirty minutes now, and it doesn't look like they will arrive in their destination anytime soon. Wala pa naman siyang inimpakeng gamit.

Si Tyron kasi eh, Nanghihila na lamang bigla. After she took a shower, and they had their breakfast Tyron instructed her to wear something comfortable, then he just pulled on her hand.

“We're going on our Honeymoon.” Ngumisi si Tyron.

Napakunot ang noo ni Alice at napansin ito ni Tyron. He just smiled again, but it no longer reached his eyes.

Does she really not put him in her eyes?

“We're going on a vacation, Baby. Do you like cold places?”

Alice nods absentmindedly. “Good. We're going to tagaytay.”

“Bakit?”

“What do you mean, Bakit?”

“I-- I mean, hindi ka ba kailangan sa trabaho mo?” Nagaalangan na tanong ni Alice.

It was so random. Nuong nakaraan nga laang ay isang linggong hindi umuwi si Tyron, dahil sa pagka-busy nito. Now, he just suddenly up and went because he decided he wanted to take a break.

Kahit ayaw niya aminin Ay nagaalala talaga si Alice dahil baka maka-abala siya sa trabaho nito.

“It's okay Baby. I made time for you.” Ani ni Tyron.

Kinuha ni Tyron ang mga kamay niya at hinawakan ito. He intertwines their hands, while his other hand is on the steering wheel.

Tila ba mayroong humihila sa puso ni Alice. Her heart was fluttering. Nagpapalit palit ang tingin niya sa mukha nito, at sa magkahawak nilang mga kamay. Their hands fit eachothers' perfectly.
