KIM YONGSUN

Wake up!!!
The sound of the alarm gained an irritated grunt from the brown-haired girl who enjoyed sleeping in during weekends. She looked at the time. 6:30 am. Why did I have to wake up this early? She shook her head and ran her fingers through her hair. She stretched her arms and legs in her bed and stared at the ceiling. She can hear the birds chirping outside and the soft rustle of leaves from the wind that just flew.
She looked at the calendar that is hanging beside her desk located at the foot of her bed. You can do this Yong Sun. A few more weeks and you're going to be an idol. She got up from the bed reluctantly only to fall back once more. "Ahh... I don't want to get up!" she complained. She kicked her feet in distress. Eventually she sat up from the bed to look around her surroundings.
In a few days, she won't be living in this room. This won't be the room that she will wake up to and go home to after a whole day of hard work. The thought made her a little sad but also made her hopeful.
Today she was going to meet up with the girls that are going to debut with her in a group and look for their own dorm. The company suggested that they live together so that they have more time to bond and build the teamwork up now that they were so close towards the stage, they would all like to perform on. They weren't unfamiliar with each other as they trained for years together. Although she had more responsibility on her shoulders being the eldest in the group and the thought made her feel like she had to distance herself a little bit from the girls.
Even when she entered the company, she learned that she was one of the eldest girls in there. She doesn't know if the instructors pushed her especially hard as part of being the eldest and to showcase leadership in other trainees, or it was just her own volition that pushed her to work even harder.
She got up from the bed and checked the house if she was alone. At the age of 22, she is still living with her parents and older sisters. After confirming she was alone in the house, she proceeded making a small breakfast for herself. Since they were meeting in a breakfast house, she decided to only make coffee, toast, and scrambled eggs. After she finished cooking, she sat down at the kitchen island and ate in silence.
Will I be a good leader? She asked herself while eating. She always had these kinds of concerns when the company CEO confirmed her debut and her position as the group's main vocal and leader. She was the youngest of the siblings and she never had experience being responsible for taking care of younger people. From now on, she would have to be responsible for making a sound decision for other people, who are not her own family.
She sighed. It was a huge responsibility indeed. Her responsibility will start with having to make decent decision for a house that they would all be living in. Thankfully enough, the company would be paying for the rent, the only things the girls would be thinking about was the utility bills and the groceries. Another thing that Yong Sun was grateful for was that the girls all came from a well-off family that supported their dreams. It made their lives easier as family was their pillar during trainee times.
Technically I'm still a trainee. I haven't debuted yet. She thought to herself. She looked at her finished plate and stood up to clean up the kitchen. She glanced at her phone to read the time. 7:30, I still have a lot of time to get ready. After cleaning she went straight to the bathroom to shower. What day is it? Do I have to wash my hair? She laughed at the thought. She was the kind of girl who didn't wash her hair often. Maybe even once a week. She just pulled her hair up on a bun and proceeded to shower.
