MOON BYULYI
It had been a few days since the four of them had moved into their new home, and ever since that day, Wheen and Hyejin had been throwing her weird looks. Not that the two girls are not weird, but they had gone from 10 to 100. Every time she would hold Yongsun or talk to her.
Even today as they were practicing the choreography for their debut song, the girls are looking at her weirdly. It's like they have this inside joke between the two of them and it somehow involved her. Fortunately, Yong Sun doesn't do the same.
"Okay, spill. What is it?" Byul suddenly stopped the music midpractice to confront the girls.
Wheein looked at Hyejin, and Hyejin looked at... Yong Sun?
"What do you mean, unnie?" Wheein asked.
Byul immediately rolled her eyes and frowned. "You know what I'm talking about. What's with the stares? Is there something I should know?" she was getting frustrated.
Hyejin's eyebrow raised at Byul's question but before she could say anything else, the practice room's door opened revealing their dance instructor with Yooah and another male trainee in tow. The four girls greeted the instructor politely.
"Good morning, girls." Their instructor, Miss Kang Seulgi, smiled at them. "I would like to congratulate you for moving in, I would like to visit sometime." She said.
"We'd love that. Just give us a text and we'll prepare the house for you." Yong Sun replied.
"I might just take you on that." Seulgi smiled at Yong Sun. "By the way, I know you have met Yooah before. She's a new trainee, and this boy," Seulgi held out her hand to pat the male trainee's back. "Is Do Kyungsoo. I would like both of them to be under Byul and Yongsun's wing for two days."
Byul raised her hand. "Who will I be taking in, Ms. Kang?" although the answer was almost obvious, Byul wanted to be sure.
"Yooah, of course. She plans to debut as the main performer of the new group we're conceptualizing." Seulgi replied. "Will that be a problem, Byul? It's not like you're going to spend all of your time with Yooah, I know you're swamped with a lot of things because of your nearing debut, just around two hours is perfect. And only for today." Seulgi reassured her.
Byul nodded and bit her lip. She wasn't comfortable with taking Yooah in as an apprentice of some sort, but since it was an instruction given to her, she can't refuse.
"What are we trying to achieve here, Ms. Kang?" Yongsun asked.
"You see, this week is the start of primary evaluations for new trainees. We asked them if they wanted to have a special session with one of the top trainees, and these two," Seulgi motioned towards Yooah and Kyungsoo. "Chose the two of you. Of course, with your own specialty. Give them a few tips so that they can give off a nice first impression to our panel of evaluators."
