MOON BYULYI
"Unnie, are you not coming home with us?" Wheein asked Byul.
Byul looked at the clock in the practice room and it said 5:30 pm. "Can you wait for a while? I'll just finish polishing the choreography I made for us." She answered.
"Well, we'll be by the convenience store outside. Hyejin and I are craving ramen." Wheein told her.
"Okay." She said and went back to finishing the choreography.
One of the things that make Byul look forward to training was dancing. She LOVED dancing, much more than she loved singing. She loved the way her body met the music's rhythm and love the way her body is light when it comes to dancing.
An hour passed, she became satisfied with what she finished so she decided to meet up with Wheein and Hyejin. Are they still there? She pulled out her phone and texted Wheein.
Kangajwhee (Wheepup)
Yo~ you still there at the convenience store?
She put on her jacket and cap and packed her bag. She was already outside the practice when Wheein replied.
Kangajwhee (Wheepup)
Yes, unnie. We're waiting for you.
She walked towards the building's exit when a figure walked beside her. Byul became startled and looked at the person; it was Yooah.
"Are you going home, sunbaenim?" Yooah asked.
Another thing that Byul hated; getting startled. "No, I'm going to meet up with some friends." She said curtly, hoping the girl would take a hint and leave her alone.
"Mind if I join you? I would like to spend more time with sunbaenim." Yooah answered with a smile, eyes sparkling with interest towards Byul.
"Why would you even like that?" Byul spat back annoyingly.
Although she can see that the girl was taken aback at her attack, the smile never left the tiny girl's face. "I like you sunbaenim."
"Yeah, right." Byul snorted and left Yooah behind. She hated people like Yooah. The way they thought that people would just like them just because they were a little bit prettier than other people. To be honest, Yong Sun unnie is prettier. She thought.
She stopped at her tracks. Where the hell did that come from? She shook her head. She's been spending more time with Yong Sun these days and maybe she felt more attached to her than usual.
"It's true though. I really like you sunbaenim." She felt an arm wrap around her left arm and she flinched at the contact. As a reflex, she quickly tore the arm away from hers and stepped a few steps away from the person. "Not just as a sunbaenim. I really like you, Byul-ssi." Yooah looked up her and had a small smile forming on her lips.
Byul cringed at the endearment. "Look, I don't want to burst your bubble, but even though I like girls, you're just not my type." She clarified. "I don't like people who think they can get whatever they want just because they bat their eyes a few times."
If hurting the other girl was Byul's goal, she was successful. The smile the girl had earlier left and pain started creeping up Yooah's eyes. "Why?" Byul tore her eyes away from the girl's stare. She hadn't noticed that she had been looking directly at Yooah's eyes until she saw that the girl's eyes were teary.
