JUNG WHEEIN

What Byul said earlier was a summary of what she was trying to tell herself every day for the past few weeks. It had been bugging her how easily Ji Hoon had been telling her to give up everything, and it hurts her to think that she had to let go of one of the constant persons she had in life.

This is Wheein's big problem. Ever since her father left their family, Wheein had a difficulty in letting go of toxic relationships, mainly because she craved some form of intimacy from the opposite sex. Not to mistake that she and her father were intimate in that sense; she just craved the sense of security she had when her father was present.

That was exactly when she met Ji Hoon, when her father bailed out on them. The guy was four years older than her, and unlike other guys of his age, he was quite mature and responsible. Those qualities were exactly what Wheein was missing when her father left, so it naturally attracted her to Ji Hoon. They met in front of the church where Hyejin and Wheein always attend masses at, and the rest was history.

However, since Wheein was a free-spirited person, it created conflicts in the relationship. Ji Hoon didn't like her drinking alcohol, didn't like that she got tattoos, and didn't like that she hangs out with Hyejin; because according to him, Hyejin was bad influence.

That was what ticked Wheein the best. Hyejin is her bestfriend whom she had known before him, and had gotten her through hard times. There was no way she'll let Hyejin go. It even came to a point where Ji Hoon asked if she'd rather have him stay or Hyejin, to which Wheein answered Hyejin without batting an eye. Ji Hoon seemed very offended with it that he stormed out of the fight and did not talk to Wheein unless Wheein herself approached him. So much for being mature, Wheein thought to herself.

The other day, when she was packing her things with Hyejin, Ji Hoon arrived at her house saying things like how he was already a successful real estate agent, and how he can provide for Wheein now. Of course, it made Wheein happy that the guy was planning for their future but what she detested was the next words Ji Hoon told her.

"I just got promoted." Wheein looked at the voice she knew was her boyfriend's and smiled at the man. He was wearing the navy-blue suit that she loved on him, and he was wearing the brightest smile she had seen these past few days. "I'm now the senior executive of marketing management of the company!" Ji Hoon opened his arms for Wheein, and she gladly ran to him, hugging the guy tightly.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so happy for you, oppa!" Wheein reached up to cup Ji Hoon's face, being the mannerman he was, he crouched down a little to Wheein's height, and she showered him with countless small kisses. "I knew you could do it!" she was proud of her boyfriend. He had been working his ass off for the past few months to get this promotion, and he got it.

"Thank you, baby." Ji Hoon gave Wheein a peck on the lips.

"Wheein, where are the other boxes?" Hyejin called out to Wheein in her room. "I don't have anything to put your things in."

"Wait a second!" Wheein shouted back. She smiled at Ji Hoon. "Hyejin is helping me pack. We're moving to Seoul tomorrow."
