"You're lucky I found you there." Gii broke the awkward silence as they walked out of the building.

Zen was walking a meter ahead of them, while San was busy examining the paper in Zen's hands, thinking a way on how to grab it and run.

"What? No 'thank you'?" Gii said when she got no response from San.

"Huh? Oh. Yeah. Thank you." San looked at Gii then back to his form.

When Gii noticed what San was looking at, she stopped San and whispered, "Forget what you are planning if you still value your life."

San frowned, then mouthed the word how?

"Don't worry. You'll get it back with a price."

"Then I wouldn't be able to get it back."

"You surrender so soon San."

"No. It's just that I don't have any money to pay him."

Gii chuckled.

"What?" San asked.

"Nothing. Look at him."

San did look at Zen.

"What do you see?"

"I see a beast disguised as human."

As soon as these words left San's mouth, Zen raised San's form, about to tear it in front of San.

"No. No. I meant the Prince in the Beauty and the Beast. Don't do a thing to it. Please." San begged.

Zen slowly folded the form and put it inside his pants' pocket.

"You should go back to middle school San. You forgot that beasts possess sharp ears." Gii teased San.

Zen stopped. Put his hand in his pants and withdrew San's form once again.

"Hey! It wasn't me! It was Gii!" Out of panic, San hit the back of Zen's head.

The world suddenly stopped rotating. San and Gii's hearts beat as fast as a running horse.

Zen stopped walking, so did San and Gii. He turned, glared at San.

"I am warning you, you—" Zen stopped midsentence, looked at San from head to foot then continue, "you pest!"" Zen warned "May it be the first and the last time that you hurt me, or you'll hate the consequences."

Zen threw his bag to San and continued walking.

Gii was shocked. It was the first time that someone hit Zen out of nowhere, and the more shocking thing that happened was Zen's reaction. He just warned San, nothing more.

She plucked her phone out of the side of her bag and typed the words You are the luckiest person that I've seen and showed it to San.

San just pouted, afraid to comment then put Zen's bag on his front. He pointed at it, asking Gii what to do with the bag.

Gii typed, Do not ever complain! Showed it to San and gave him a warning look.

San just nodded as approval.

Just look at him. Do you think Zen is interested in your money?

San now responded without hesitation, "Who wouldn't be?"

Zen stopped walking for the millionth time.

San became nervous again. How could he possibly know what we're talking about? Does this guy read minds?

"Yes," Zen whispered in front of them.

San was very amazed yet shocked. He jumped in front of Zen then loudly asked with big eyes, "You do?"

That was when he realized that he made a big mistake. In Zen's hand was his phone. He was talking to someone.

"Oh. Sorry."

Zen just ignored San and entered the building that they're supposed to be in an hour ago. San went back to Gii's side.

"I really don't know if you're an angel or what. Zen just got so kind."

"I also don't know how you people define kind with that guy's standards."

"Hush. Don't risk your enrolment form with your sharp tongue."

"Yeah. You're right. By the way Gii."

"Yes?"

"How did your dad know that I am a freshman?"

"Oh. That? I don't know. I suppose he assumed that you're my classmate for I was with you--which coincidentally became true."

"Oh. Sorry me, he was the one there."

"Shit!" Gii stopped.

"What?"

"I forgot to tell him that he's the one to orient the freshmen! That's why I was there! The dean asked me to tell it to dad!"

"Let's go back then!" San prepared to run but Gii stopped him.

"No. You have Zen's bag. Better not abuse his good mood. I'll go back. Go with Zen. We, three, are in the same class."

Gii didn't wait for San's reaction, she just sped back out of the building, leaving San rooted on the spot behind Zen.

I am Zen's classmate? I am really doomed.
