San's first day in College ended well. He met friends--rich friends--and a viable threat. Zen continued giving orders to San after the carrots incident that San regretted of doing. He even saw Zen talking to a couple of boys after the scene, but when Zen caught him watching, Zen quickly pushed the heavily muscled boys away and gave San a menacing look.

"You better watch out." Zen threatened him.

"Thanks."

"Don't flatter yourself. I'm not concerned about you. I'm warning you."

"Ooooh. Scary. Ha~ha." San teased Zen.

San finally made it straight to the bar at exactly 7pm. Nat wasn't there yet, so he cleaned all the tables all by himself. He swept the floor while still in his white school uniform as the room slowly gets crowded by customers. He's tired, but he can't just complain for he has to work to survive.

The truth is, San wasn't really used to this kind of living. He used to have a car, his own mansion that he's living alone, he even got multiple bank accounts until two months ago.

"San! You're here already? Go. Change your clothes first. It's not good if the customers see you wearing school uniform. Besides, that uniform is white. Don't let it be stained!" Aunty Naifang scolded him and beckoned him towards the kitchen, "go go go. Have you eaten already? You must be so tired. Go and eat something first. I can take the orders if there's any."

"Are you sure aunty?"

"Of course! Go go go and make it fast"

It only took 20minutes for San to eat and change into his black and white working uniform. By the time that he returned to the stage, Nat was already there being busy taking orders of the now-crowded tables.

This atmosphere has changed San's taste. When he tried to reflect to himself two months ago, he actually was exactly like Zen--a person who is easily irritated and possesses a look of a murderer. San smiled, realizing that this bar turned him into someone who doesn't take life heavily. It has given him the secret recipe on how to smile on your problems. It showed him the easiest way to cope up with life that even though every night, when you lie on your bed and doesn't know how to survive the following morning, you'd still think of your happy thoughts instead of stressing yourself out. This bar as well made him trust people around him, which he didn't until two months ago; and one of those people is Sarah, a girl who likes San a lot that she's been in the bar daily for a month now.

"San! Hey!" Sarah waved at San as soon as San went out of the kitchen's curtains.

San then took menu books and handed it to Sarah.

"Hey Sarah. You're here again huh?" Sarah stood and gave San a hug.

"Yeah. Aren't you happy?"

"Of course I am, as long as I'm not the reason that you're here."

"Awwww" Sarah pouted.

"Hey. Stop doing that. Okay? You know that I don't want to date anyone just yet. And besides, I even barely eat these days, what more if you became my girlfriend?"

"Then I'll treat you myself." Sarah exclaimed.

"That's the point. I'm the man, I should be treating you."

"It's fine with me."

San sighed before answering. "I'm sorry. I really can't." The two stared at each other for a minute, then San cut the awkward silence. "Smile. Okay? There are many boys out there. Look at yourself! You're pretty. You're rich and smart. There will be so many guys that can surpass this skinny and pale boy." San ended, pertaining to himself.

"But-"

"No buts. Now, What do you want to eat?"

Sarah just sighed and got to her seat again. "The usual."

"Okay then. One grilled chicken and pineapple juice coming." San strode away, but Sarah stopped him.

"What did you say?"

"What?"

"I must have misheard you, about pineapple juice or something?"

"Isn't it your first day in class today?"

"Yep." Sarah answered, confused of the sudden change of topic.

"And you still have class tomorrow, right?"

"Ahuh."

"Then beer's not allowed today for everyone named Sarah. I'm so sorry miss." Finally, San proceeded to the kitchen, leaving Sarah smiling, moved by San's concern and that he remembers that it's Sarah's first day.
