Raindrops have already started falling when San, Zen, Gii, Fai, Jey, Four, Theo, and Ten met in the parking lot along with the other students. Everyone got into their respected cars while San was still rooted to the spot where everyone dispersed from. He didn't know which car to ride. He has six options actually: Zen's, Fai's and Gii's, Jey's, Four's, Theo's, and Ten's.

"Hey San! Here!" Ten got out of his blue car and opened San a door.

San was then about to enter Ten's car, but again, for the second time that day, a familiar bag flew towards him followed by a bellowing complaint, "Move fast! My car's been starting for ages now!"

Despite Zen's monstrous face that could have already devoured San now, San still entered Ten's car, teasing Zen more.

Ten just laughed. He was actually enjoying Zen's losing temper. He's already seen how Zen loses it, but San seemed to raise Zen's patience tenfold.

"Are you sure you wanna ride with me? Your hubby's gonna kill me at home for sure. Hahaha" Ten glanced at the pouting San who just gave Zen a dirty finger gesture.

"Your brother's one of a monster. How did he end up like that? What have you fed him Ten? Huh? You--two--are a million times different!"

"San, one favor." Ten shifted his body to face San while he started the car, "Don't hate Zen so much. He may have been tough with you--"

"Tough? Oh no! Ten. More of super supeeeeeer tough! Yeah, that's him."

Ten finally turned his engine on, he smiled first before finally turning the wheels, "Yes, but that monster was once a tame pet."

Four's house was, as expected, a mansion. Two floors towered over the green bonsais around the perimeter of the house. The blue-watered pool welcomes the visitors as it is at the very front of the house.

The first floor was an astonishing reflection of an oasis. The three glass walls were joined by a black-bricked wall where water was dripping from the top of if, spurting an infinite amount of water from an unseen source. On the floor was a draped artificial lawn that gives the room a refreshing look. Bizarre-looking bonsais have littered the vast area along with the various appliances and a number of furniture.

"My parents are genetic engineers. If you're wondering how we got into a forest." Four explained noticing San's wondering eyes, giving San a friendly smile, "they like to experiment on plants, finding ways on how to help plants coexist inside homes with humans without disturbance. They're weird parents, I know, but they're my inspiration, my idols."

"Wow!" Was the only word that San has answered Four who was already on the stairs.

"Thanks."

"Yeah. That's how Four persuaded Fai and Jey to take the same major." Gii blurted, rolling her eyes.

"Of course! I'd follow Four wherever he wants to go!" Jey exclaimed.

"Ugh. Stop that Jey." Four disgustingly pushed Jey away from him.

"Ten, you're also taking genetic engineering right?" San remembered.

"Yep."

"Same reason with them?"

"No particular reason actually. I just picked randomly and it turned out to be nice."

"Okay." San whispered back, withdrawing a questioning sigh, "How about you Zen? Why did you take architecture?"

"I wanted to make a tomb for you, that's why."

"Oh, great choice then!" Replied by the irritated San.

"Here they go again." Fai and Gii said together, rolling their eyes.

"Won't anyone ask me why I took Marketing?" Theo, who was simply following the discussion, shot a question.

"Ugh. We know bro. You suck at Engineering. It's okay, we understand that!" Jey calmly teased, tapping Theo's back then ran for his life upstairs, screaming as Theo chased after him.

"Hey! I don't suck at Engineering! I love Marketing! Come back here!" shouted Theo.

----

"Do you wanna grab a bite first?" Four asked them.

"What do you have?" Ten jumped on the table, looking at Four opening the fridge.

Fai, Gii, Jey, and Theo were already in Four's room, waiting for San and the rest to bring them something to eat.

"We can make a sandwich and chips" Four recommended.

Upon revealing the ingredients for a sandwich to them, San saw a green veggie that gave him an idea to tease Zen. He picked a leaf and showed it to Zen, "Oy. Zen, come on! Have a bite master!"

Zen just slapped his hand away, "take that away from me, you mouse!" He smirked.

"Come on! Just a bite!" San laughed. "You look tough but you're so afraid of veggies!" San teased him even more.

"Hey, you!" Zen snatched the lettuce from San's hand, "I will never eat this thing, understand?!" He pointed it at San, to which San just gave up on.

After preparing the food, the four of them went towards Four's room. The others have already settled into their places, busy with their phones.

"Come on guys! Let's have something to fill our tummy's first!" Four announced, "We have chips, sandwich, and salad"

"What kind of salad?" Fai asked with glee.

"I wanna call it a salad, but it's just lettuce. HAHAHA" Four laughed.

"Oh, that's fine." Fai smiled at Four.

"You really are determined with your diet huh Fai?" Gii annoyingly asked. "How can you eat just that?" Gii plucked a leaf from Fai's plate.

"Why? It's good and healthy." Fai smiled at all of them but stopped when he saw Zen eating only the chips, "Hey Zen, why don't you try this for a change?" Fai offered the lettuce salad to Zen.

"Uh, no Fai, thanks, but I can't really take eati--" Zen started to explain, but Fai insisted.

"Pleeeeease?" Fai pleaded.

"Oh, forget it Fai." San interrupted the two of them, "I already tried asking him a while ago, but--" San stopped in midsentence.

Zen, who told him that will never eat lettuce was slowly picking a leaf of lettuce from Fai's plate. Zen, who San wanted to eat lettuce, slowly tasted the veggie and smiled at Fai.

"See? It's good right?" Fai exclaimed happily while Zen replied and finished the lettuce left in his hand.

Zen nodded and smiled even more, "Thanks Fai"

San, who was just explaining, stopped. Scratching his head, he understood the big difference between him and Fai. He just stared at Fai and sighed.

He just stared at Fai and sighed
