Aiden Jenson:
"Come on, Aiden. We're getting late." Cameron yelled, entering my room and knocking some things off my side table dramatically.
"Shut up. I'm trying to concentrate here." I narrowed my eyes at the mirror and kept on fixing my hair. "First day and we're going to be late." He sighed, checking his wrist watch.
"Stop being dramatic. It's just school." I rolled my eyes and picked up my bad from my bed. "Come on." I patted his back and we both headed downstairs.
"Cameron. It's nice to meet you." My dad nodded at my best friend and shook his hand. Cameron smiled widely, shaking dad's hand.
"You two ready for the day?" Mom exited the kitched with a plate full of cookies in her hands. Cameron's eyes lit up at the sight of delicious cookies and he ran past me towards mom. "Sarah, I missed your cookies!" He squealed like a five year old.
"Dude, what are we? Five?" I pulled him by the collar of his shirt and dragged him towards the door. "Bye Mom!" I yelled before exiting the house.
"Byee Sarah and Smith!! Sarah, I love your cookies." Cameron yelled with his mouth full of cookies.
"Get in." I pushed him towards my car.
"Asshole." He narrowed his eyes at me.
I got in the driver seat as he got settled in the passenger seat. Cameron, the biggest asshole in the world. I met him back in fourth grade. I don't know how we became best friends as we were totally different from each other. He was jolly. He laughed and smiled alot. He had good sence of humour. He liked to mess around with people and make them laugh. He liked to flirt with girls and make them fall for his charms. Whereas I was totally opposite. I liked staying in my circle. I didn't like to open up to people. I had a dark image unlike Cameron. I didn't like to interact with people.
"What's going on in that dumb head of yours?" Cameron's voice broke my chain of thought. "Nothing." I took a turn to the left and Cameron head crashed with the window as his while body jerked towards left. "Ouch, dudee!"
A laugh escaped my lips as I saw him rubbing the side of his head. "I hate you."
Cameron was driving with me to the school because he had recently crashed his car. He was drunk as hell. I've told him millions of time not to drive when he's drunk but this asshole never listened to me.
We got to school in less then 15 minutes. After killing off the engine we both stepped out of the vehicle. Some of the football players jogged towards us.
"Aiden! My man!" Dylan high fived me. "You enjoyed last Friday?" Elijah asked and I nodded slowly. "It was fun."
Last Friday Elijah threw a party as his parents were out of City and he had the house to himself. I remember seeing drunk teenagers everywhere. As much as I wanted to drink, I didn't. I had to stop myself because Cameron was drunk as hell and I had to stay sober to get us both home safely.
"Meet you guys at lunch." I told them and entered the huge building. I got to my locker and started picking out my books.
"New girl?" I heard a sharp voice. Stacy. I turned around and just as I thought, Stacy stood there with her hand on her hips, glaring at a girl.
I couldn't see the girls face properly as Stacy was blocking half of her but I could see how she clutched her books to her chest. She was the same height as Stacy. "You dumb?" Stacy's annoying voice called out.
"N-no." The girl stuttered. "Glad to hear. Now listen to me." Stacy snapped her fingers in front of her face. "It's better if you keep a low profile here and stay out of my way. Although you don't look like the girl I would have a problem with but still."
Stacy turned on her heals and started to walk down the corridor when her eyes landed on me. "Aiden!" She yelled but my eyes still hadn't left a certain someone. She had striking blue eyes. Her ovel face, pink lips and dark brown hair added beauty to her face. I watched as she struggled to stand there. I noticed how she wanted to be anywhere but here. I noticed how her hair kept on falling onto her eyes but she didn't move them away.
"Aiden, how are you?" Stacy had approached me by now. "Good." I replied, my eyes still glued to that blue eyed girl. She slowly lifted her eyes and that's when our eyes met. She gulped down the lump in her throat and looked away after a minute, kept her head low and then disappeared into the sea of teenagers in the corridor.
"What are you looking at?" Stacy's eyes narrowed. "Nothing. I have class. Bye." I quickly brushed her off and walked away.
Stacy Rose. The cheer team captain of this school. I didn't know what kind of obsession she had with me. She was always clingy. Always craved my attention but I never gave it to her. She was well aware of the fact that I never dated. That I was never interested in girls like her but this wasn't enough to keep her away from me. She wanted me to give her attention but I was totally sick of her.
My eyes quickly roamed the crowd in search of a certain blue eyed girl but I couldn't find her. Where did she go?
My eyes narrowed at myself. Why the fuck do I care all of a sudden?
