Days passed and I was happy to see Crystal getting comfortable with the boys. When she sat with us the first time in the cafeteria she was nervous but then slowly she started to get comfortable with us.

"What's the deal with her?" I whispered into Cameron's ear, looking at Stacy who was sitting accorss the room and glancing at me from time to time.

"Oh she. You don't have to worry about her from now on. I took care of it." He said, smirking and leaning back in his seat.

"Cameron, what did you do?" I raised my eyebrows at him.

"I noticed how she was being so clingy around you and how she was very jealous of seeing you and Crystal happy together. I thought it was my time to save my best friend's relation and throw the toxic people out of his life." He put his hand around my shoulder and gave me a cheeky grin.

"What...did you say to her?" I was still confused. "Forget what I said. Just remember that she won't bug you guys anymore." I was more than happy to hear that. I put my hand on Cameron's shoulder and smiled. "Thanks, douchebag."

"Anytime, darling." He laughed and I rolled my eyes.

These past days I and Crystal had been close getting really close. We spen most of our time together. In the cafeteria she always sat with me and the boys. She spent most of her time with me even after the school we would work on our presentation at my house.

Last Wednesday was the last date to submit our presentation and I was happy to say that I and Crystal did a really good job preparing it. Okayy.. not I and Crystal, only Crystal. I hardly worked on the presentation as I was always busy looking at her.

After that day we would spend the time after school together either at my house or at Bob's. I was glad to see that she was always happy around me. I remembered some days ago she was down and wasn't feeling well but after talking to me she was smiling and laughing like a happy kid. It was nice to know that she trusted me now.

"Morning, jerk." Cameron came from behind me and greeted. "Morning, douchebag." I greeted back.

"Oh, how much I love that Nick name." He put his hand on his heart and smiled. "You're such a drama queen." I chuckled and punched his shoulder.

Suddenly Cameron's phone rang and he took it out and sighed.

"What." He said and after a while slammed the back of his hand on his forehead. "You two." He groaned. "I'll be back." He whispered to me and then disappeared in the sea of people. It was probably his trouble maker brothers.

My eyes fell on Crystal's locker and I saw her there. A small smile formed on my lips as I shut my locker and walked towards her.

"Hey, Crys." I smiled at her. She covered the sadness on her face and smiled at me. "Oh hey, Aiden."

"What's wrong? Are you okay?" I asked her concerned. "Yeah, I'm good." She said and reached inside her locker to take out her books.

"Crystal." I gasped and lightly caught her wrist. There was a fresh cut on her wrist beside the old one. "What is this!" My heart was pounding in my chest as I stared at her wrist. She pulled the wrist from my hand and clutched it to her chest. "Its nothing, Aiden. I'm getting late." She said and tried to walk past me.

"No. Not this time. Crystal, I need to know what's wrong. Please. I've been seeing these cuts and bruises since the day I met you and to be very honest I'm concerned about you." I looked deep in her eyes.

"Aiden, drop it." She whispered. "Not this time, Crys. I've been dropping it since day one."

She sighed and closed her eyes. I stepped closer to her and tilted her chin up to look at me. "I won't insist now but please trust me. You know you can trust me with anything." I sincerely said.

She looked deep in my eyes for a while and then sighed. "Okay." She whispered and looked to the floor.

"We can go somewhere during lunch break and I'll tell you.... everything." She said and I nodded.

"I'll meet you in the parking lot at lunch break." I said and she nodded her head.

"I'll see you then. Bye." And just like that, she was gone. Lost in the sea of people in the corridor.
