Chapter 34

The teenagers all met up at school the next day, Seungjin having texted the group chat telling them they had an announcement.

When everyone arrived the couple looked at each other, Hyunjin nodding at Seungmin as a signal of telling everyone.

"Hyunjin and I are dating" he told them, big smile on his face.

Upon hearing this, everyone else also let a smile spread on their faces, congratulating the couple.

"About time, I was getting tired of the tension" Felix chuckled.

"Shut up Felix, we all know you liked Changbin months before you finally had the guts to confess" Seungmin's statement made Felix shut up.

Eventually the bell rang and everyone made their way to their classes, everyone except Minho. He hadn't been skipping as much since Jisung joined, but today he needed time to think so he found his favourite spot in school, a small classroom that was always open, but no one ever really came there anymore. The walls were decorated with students' drawings as well as the desks. It seemed simple, but Minho liked it. He also liked adding drawings everywhere. Most of the drawings were drawn in black marker, but Minho's were all drawn in colour. He didn't like the darkness, his head was mostly in a dark place, but he didn't want his environment to represent that, with his friends being so active and energetic and his drawings colourful, maybe it could help him get out of his dark and negative headspace.

Minho wasn't there to draw this time. He was there to think. About Jisung mainly. After hearing about Seungmin and Hyunjin getting together, it made him want to confess too, but he couldn't and he knew that, but it was oh so tempting to just pour his heart out and suddenly he knew who to call. See in his old school he had a friend, a girl, they didn't talk much, only when they were both bored during math, but she was known for her advice when it came to crushes and relationships. He decided to call her later, because she was probably in class right now. He didn't realise he had been thinking for so long until he heard the bell ring.

He decided to go to second period and saw Hyunjin there so he went to sit next to him. He hadn't been hanging out with Hyunjin as much as he used to and he kinda missed that. He loved the other guys, but it was different with Hyunjin, whereas he had known the others for about 2 years now, Hyunjin had been his friend for 6 years now and was without a doubt his best friend so sometimes it was nice just hanging out with just the two of them.

"Hey Hyunjin, wanna hang out at my place after school?" he asked.

"Oh yeah sure, I can't wait to tell you about Seungmin, he's such a cutie" he spoke about his lover so fondly and Minho smiled back, he was happy for his best friend. Slightly envious, but happy.

Both boys focused their attention on the teacher then and just tried to pay attention. Neither of them could actually process any of the information they were supposed to be learning though. One too busy thinking about a certain puppy like boy, the other letting his thoughts wander to a squirrel like boy.

Happy birthday Hyunjin. I don't even know what to say, I just love him so much. His laugh and giggles, his dramatic ass and just his overall personality and then his aura on stage, I swear this boy is out to get me. I just love him, I hope he's happy and he has the best birthday.
