Shits been hard lately. I've been picking up extra runs this week since Flaco got his dumb ass locked up once again and Spooky was stressing about running the Santos.

We all planned to meet up at the Cafe on Lauv Road since we've all been pretty distant running our own things lately.

Juan, Javier and I went in my car whilst Oscar, ShyBoy and Antonio came separately.

We all met outside side walk before entering the Corner Cafe. Immediately the smell of dark coffee and spicy food flooded our senses. We choose a seat next to the window and I sat on the inside of the table.

An older woman came up and took our orders, we continued to talk about business and soon enough our orders were bought by the same woman.

We had finished all of our food after about and hour and now we're immersed in a semi comfortable semi awkward silence. It was all going well they came up with ideas about how that Santos business could grow and we teased Antonio for his new gringa girl.

And then Javier split his Pepsi all over the floor. Typical Javier you can take him anywhere without his stupid ass doing something like this.

People from tables around us turned to take short looks but most looked away after a few seconds not wanting to get into altercations with us.

The same old woman with the bright blush came back out laughing as she saw Javier's guilty face and the soda across the floor.

'Imaan, come out here and clean this up' she bellowed.

Whilst she turned to enter the back a girl came through the door beads. She flashed the elderly woman and us a smile. She squatted down and began to clean the milkshake up.

'Don't worry it happens to loads of people.' she said while flashing a smile.

She wore had hair in a striped bun, her skin was a golden honey brown which shone in the light that came through the windows.

By now we were all focused on her and our eyes followed as she got up and left, not before giving us another beautiful smile.

'Lil mama hella fine' Juan said
'You got a girl' I accidentally fired back,
'And what about it'
'I ain't saying nothing but you remember last time you played something like this?'

My response to Juan earned a small laugh from Spooky and random sound effects from the others.

'Fr tho you always chase after innocent girls and break their hears and end up damaging yours in the process' I said seriously

'Your one to talk Sadeyes why don't you tell us about your relationship status huh?' Juan said I could sense the animosity in his voice.

He always said the same thing, I was single by choice but nobody seemed to understand. The girl once again appeared the clean a table .She furrowed her browns whilst focusing on the task at hand.

Imaan, that's her name.

Spooky got up,
'I gotta go Cesar needs me' He sounded slightly rushed.
'Bro you good?, what happened?' Me and Oscar had been friend since High School, we've always been there for each other, we even got jumped in with each other. I could tell that for the past couple days something had been bothering him real bad.
'Nothing, let's head out'

Once again Oscar hiding shit from us.

We all got up in unison and started heading out, I took one glance back to the girl who had now disappeared and smiled to myself whilst shaking my  head, this is not the time to be catching feelings.
