The tale of Mayumi

"Old man"

     While i was reading the scroll from Tsunade, Hikaru passed out on the table.
- "Hm, is he gonna be okay?"
I hear Kakashis voice and look up from the scroll, to see Kakashi pointing at Hikaru.
- "Yeah, don't worry about it. He's always like that." I say and set aside the scroll. Kakashi notices and puts away his book too.
- "What do you think I should do?" I ask.
- "Are you asking me?" He asks confused.
- "Well, I can't be asking Hikaru, he's sleeping on the table, so yeah, I'm asking you."
- "About what?"
- "The offer!" I say annoyed, pointing at the scroll.
- "Can't help you with that, i have no idea what's written there." He says calmly.
We were sitting in weird silence, until Hikaru fell of his chair.
- "Damn it." I say, trying to get him up.
- "Do you need some help with that." Says Kakashi with a chuckle, obviously enjoying my misery.
- "No, I'm good, i think I'm gonna take him home." I say as he gets closer.
- "Come on, let me help you, I can't let you carry a passed out guy, especially when you're obviously drunk too." He says and puts Hikaru on his back.
- "Ok fine, but not because I'm drunk, but because I'm tired." I say raising my eyebrow.
- "As you wish." He chuckles and walks out of the place.
- "Come on, it's this way." I say pointing at the gates.
- "Outside the village?" He says concerned.
- "Yep, to bad you insisted on carrying him." I say laughing and he laughs too. "Hey listen, I'm sorry about earlier, I don't know if you heard but...."
- "Oh I heard" he says cutting me off.
- "Sorry old man." I say ashamed.
- "Old man? Just how old do you think i am?" He laughs.
- "I don't know, I can't see your face, i only judged by your hair color. So how old are you?"
- "I'm 24 and you look pretty young, I'm assuming 21, so I'm only 3 years older than you. You can't call me old man."
- "5."
- "Come again.."
- "You're 5 years older than me, I'm 19. Well I'm turning 19 soon."
- "Your drinking underage?"
- "Yeah so what? I can handle my alcohol."
- "Now i know why Lady Hokage wanted to come for you herself."
- "Really? She wanted to?" I say, not being able to hide my joy.
- "Yeah but she was really busy. So she sent me."
- "Well we're here." I say approaching our house. I open a door for Kakashi and he lays Hikaru on the bed.
- "Tsunade offers us to move to hidden leaf village." I say out of the blue.
- "You wanted my opinion on that?" He asks. I nod. "Well I can't make that decision for you and i think you need to discuss it with him." He says pointing at passed out Hikaru.
- "Yeah you're right. Thank you for helping me bring him home and I apologize again for our inappropriate behavior before."
- "No need to thank me, or apologize." He says going for the door.
- "You can stay here if you want." I say following him.
- "Thank you, but I already checked in a hotel and all my stuff is there." He pauses for a second. "I'm gonna head back to hidden leaf village in two days. I'll come over and if you decide to move, I'll accompany you, both of you." He says with a closed eye. I'm assuming smiling.
- "Well than see you in two days i guess. Good night Kakashi." I say smiling back.
- "good night Mayumi."
