The tale of Mayumi

"First night in konoha"

     Our new apartment is great, it's cozy, i love my bedroom and it's right next to Kakashis. It took me a while but I unpacked everything, with Hikarus help of course, cuz he had like 7 things himself. We still had some time to kill, before we had to meet up with Tsunade, so we went out in the village to look around. We were talking when huge dog decided to jump on me, freaking out Hikaru.
- "Hey buddy, where did you come from?" I started to laugh and pet him.
- "Akamaru! What are you doing?? I'm so sorry." A boy runs towards us offering me hand to stand up.
- "It's okay, I don't mind." I laugh again and take his hand.
- "Oh, I've never seen you before, my name is Kiba and this is Akamaru."
- "My names Hikaru and this is Mayumi, who doesn't even listens to us." Says Hikaru while i play with Akamaru.
- "What? Did you say something?" I look up at Hikaru and he just rolls his eyes, while Kiba chuckles.
- "Kiba! Here you are." A girl and a guy approaches us.
- "Hinata, Shino, these are Hikaru and Mayumi."
- "Nice to meet you." Hinata almost whispers.
- "Pleasure to meet you." Shino says calmly.
- "For us too." Hikaru says kicking me, while I still play with Akamaru.
- "What the hell?" I say looking up and noticing everyone. "Oh sorry, I'm Mayumi." I scratch the back of my head embarrassed as i stand up.
- "You guys are new here?" Kiba asks.
- "Yep, just moved in today." I smile.
- "We were going to meet our friends, do you wanna come with us?" Kiba asks with a huge smile.
- "We would, but we have to meet up with Tsunade." I say.
- "Lady Hokage?" Hinata asks quietly.
- " yeah, yeah." I chuckle and Hikaru hits me in the head.
- "Stop it!" He says through his teeth.
- "I'm gonna beat your ass." I say smiling at him and turning back to others. "Well we have to go, but i hope I'll get to know you guys better."
- "Of course and I'm sorry again for Akamaru."
- "Don't worry about it, i love dogs." I say as i pet Akamaru and Kiba blushes a little.
     We said our goodbyes and started to move towards the Hokage building. Once we were out of their sight i attacked Hikaru by jumping on his back and started to choke him. "This is for earlier." But he just continued to walk, not even minding me.
As soon as we walked in Tsunades office, she jumped up and dragged us out of there, right to the bar.
- "Shizune's not coming?" I asked when Tsunade poured us sake.
- "No it's just the three of us tonight, tell me everything that's happened since we parted our ways."
    We talked and drank for hours, Hikaru got wasted pretty quickly, obviously, but we were continuing drinking until Shizune came by and took Tsunade home, she had to work tomorrow. I was dragging Hikaru home when i met Kiba and Akamaru again and they helped me get him home. I was glad because I didn't wanted to use my powers yet, people might've freaked out and I was drunk to deal with it. I thanked Kiba and promised to meet him soon so we could get to know each other. Hikaru was passed out on the couch, but i wasn't sleepy so after like an hour I 'flew' through the window on the roof for a smoke. Soon I noticed Kakashi on the roof coming near me.
- "Didn't knew you smoked?"
- "Hikaru hates the smell so i came up here. You want one?" I ask as he sits beside me.
- "No, thanks. I know why you offered though." He points at his mask.
- "It was worth a try." I shrug. "What are you doing here?"
- "I saw blue lights through my window."
- "Aw, you came up here to see me?"
- "Shut up." He chuckled. "It's late, i was concerned, thought maybe you had nightmare."
- "I don't have nightmares every night." I laugh. "We were out drinking with Tsunade, jut got home like an hour ago. Why weren't you sleeping?" I raise my eyebrow.
- "I was reading." He says and i burst out laughing.
- "Having fun before bed?" I smirk.
- "You enjoyed this book too." He narrows his eye at me.
- "Never said I didn't." I smile looking in his eye and there's awkward silence, before I speak up. " well i better get back, need to look after the drunk dumbass."
- "Yeah, right." He says almost whispering and looks away.
