Toni groans at the blaring sound of her alarm clock and the banging of her front door. She forces her eyes open and closes them almost instantly at the bright light of the sun shining through the curtains of her small trailer.

"What the hell do you want!" She screams, causing the pounding of whomever was outside her door to stop.

"Get up, Tiny! It's time for school!" Fangs yells back, turning the knob of her trailer door.

"Alright! Alright! Don't you dare open that door." Toni replied, gradually sitting up in her bed and snoozing her alarm. She yawned, rubbing her eyes and standing up.

Around 20 minutes later and Toni opened the front door to see three of her best friends and her sister standing outside neat their motorcycles.

"Can't believe we are seriously on our way to Riverdale Highschool." Sweet Pea mumbles, "that places is going to be the death of me."

"You don't know that, Pea." Her sister responds, "you could find love!"

The tall serpent responds with a grumble. "That's stupid."

Jughead walks over to Toni as soon as she steps outsider her trailer. "Don't mind him... he just hates the northside."

Toni rolls her eyes and frowns. "I never would have guessed."

***

The drive to the northside wasn't exactly pleasant, as Sweet Pea was making a huge fuss the entire time. While Fangs and Brittney (Toni's sister) desperately tried to calm the heated serpent down, Toni was in her own little world. She was actually excited for this new "adventure" as she would like to call it.

"I swear if one curious Northsider gets in my way today!" Sweet Pea groans, sitting back in the backseat.

"And I swear if you don't shut your mouth for at least one second!" Brittney responded, kicking the annoyed boy in the leg.

"It's the truth and you know it. If someone annoys me any further today, I'm getting suspended and someone is going to be walking around with a black eye."

"I wouldn't doubt a thing." Her sister replied.

Toni chuckled and turned her head to look behind her at her best friend, "are you sure that's a smart thing to do? I don't think the serpents would be making a good mark and since so many northsiders are already dreading the arrival of us... 'greasers'.." The small pink haired female rolled her eyes and smirked, "I wouldn't recommend getting in a fight this early."

To much of the serpents in the car, they were shocked to hear no response from the tall broad shouldered serpent. In fact, not even a grunt or a grown escaped his mouth. He just shook his head and laid back into the seat, closing his eyes and snapping his knuckles.

Toni turned to face the front again, smiled to herself and out of the corner of her eye, she could see Jughead sighing, focusing his full attention to the road.

Cheryl Blossom wasn't someone to mess with.

That's what everyone knew and believed.

So when the announcement that southside high had been shut down and that they would be transferred over to their school, everyone froze.

And so did Cheryl.

They knew, in that moment, that if they got in the way of the red queen...

They wouldn't make it out alive.

When Cheryl woke up the day the serpents were supposed to arrive she shivered. She shivered at the thought of those greasy, disgusting serpents wandering the long hallways of their once beautifully sculpted and structed school would soon be overran.

Cheryl didn't want to go to school that day, but she didn't want to miss a day.

After all she was Cheryl Blossom.

She promised herself that she would go to school and make sure that those... serpents... would understand that Riverdale High was hers.

***

Cheryl and Reggie were sitting outside of the school that day when the serpents rolled up in their cars and Harleys.

They straightened their backs and glared directly at the people that stepped out of the vehicles, wearing their leather jackets that had a snake on their backs.

"I already hate these guys." Reggie whispered into Cheryl's ear.

Cheryl smirked, watching silently as they gradually got closer and closer to the building.

"Couldn't agree more." The redhead replied, "but don't worry.. we'll make sure they won't make it a week in these halls. After all... they are serpent scum with a low gpa and no bright future.

Reggie laughed and playfully hit Cheryl's shoulder softly. "Nice one, red." He smirked, "I fully intend to see this happen. It really shouldn't be that hard."

"Not at all." Cheryl responded, winking at Reggie before walking towards the school, knowing that the boy was right behind her.

***

Cheryl and Reggie's first impression of the Southside Serpents walking around in the hallways with the Northside Bulldogs and Vixens wasn't out of the extraordinary. They weren't impressed.

"Welcome to Riverdale High!" Veronica says in a pleasant and happy manner as she walks over to a couple of serpents that just entered the school. "My name is Veronica Lodge and I'm incredibly excited to meet and interact with you all this year!"

Cheryl took notice of the serpents. Front in center was of course the beanie boy: Jughead Jones. He was the only one that Cheryl actually knew, yet, she still hated his guts. Her eyes wandered over to the rest. A tall one, a muscular one that Kevin looked to be drooling over.

She rolled her eyes at Kevin's expression.

"Come on, red. Let's get out of her before we get infected or something." Reggie whispers, tapping on her shoulder.

Cheryl didn't hear him. Her eyes were fixed on a female serpent with her hair dyed a perfectly shaded pink.

"What the hell kind of color is that?" Cheryl asked herself. "A serpent dyeing their hair pink?"

"Red?" Reggie tapped her again, "you there?"

"Hmm?" Cheryl replied, snapping her eyes away from the beautiful serpent for a split second before turning back towards her.

"I said let's get out of her before we get sick." He responded, nodding in the direction of the gym.

"Okay."

But Cheryl didn't move.

"Cheryl."

'Yeah, I know. Fine." She sighed, lifting her gaze from the unknown serpent once again before turning around, nearly running into Reggie's shoulder.

Reggie follows quickly after.

Once they were inside the gym, the muscular raven haired boy was quick to pull her aside. "What took you so long to respond, Cheryl?"

"What do you mean?" The redhead sighed, glaring up at Reggie and crossing her arms. "I responded."

"But not quick!" Reggie smirked, "we could have caught something terrible!"

Cheryl only chuckled.
