Family is everything (Riverdale - Choni)

~Chapter 2~

(This story is so random but for some reason I actually enjoy writing it... what's wrong with me?!)

(Tell me in the comments if you like Toni's sister. I tried to make her a little bit like Jellybean. So it's technically a mixture of Toni and Jellybean)

"If one more person looks at me differently." Sweet Pea growls, walking with Toni to their next class.

"Calm down, meathead." The smaller female responded, "you aren't going to do anything while I'm around, I can almost promise you that."

"This the room?" He asked, turning towards Toni.

Toni glanced up from her phone and nodded at the room number. "Yeah, looks like it."

"Great." He mumbled.

They entered silently and walked around towards the back of the room, sitting down in lonely desks next to each other.

"This is going to be a horrible year." Sweet Pea groaned again.

"I swear to God, Sweets... if you say one more thing about this damn school and its students I will punch you myself." The pink haired female replied, glaring at her best friend.

"Fine."

A few minutes later and Toni looked up to see a redhead walk in.

"Great... she's in here." Sweet Pea muttered.

Toni turned to glare at him but turned back to look at her again.

"What's her name?"

"You seriously want to know?" Sweet Pea replied, "who cares?"

"I do." Toni said.

"Ask her yourself. I'm not going around anyone like her." He responded, sitting back in the chair and kicking his feet up onto the desk."

"You're going to bring attention to us. I doubt the northsiders do that here."

"And?" He replied, "who cares?"

"They do?" Toni nodded towards the northsiders sitting up front.

"Whatever."

Toni groaned to herself and closed her eyes.

She opened them just as a booming voice appears in front of the class. "Alright everyone! Get into your seats." Mr. Weatherbee yells, walking to his desk.

Everyone scurries to find a seat.

"As you all may have noticed, we have some new students here today." He smiles. "I want you all to treat them with respect and kindness. Make some new friendships."

He starts walking around the room. "I've heard some rumors that they might cause trouble because they are from a different side of town." He stops next to Sweet Pea's desk. "I want a healthy and respectful school and experience between the two sides."

Everyone was silent.

"Do you understand?"

Soft murmurs of agreement could be heard between both sides.

Mr. Weatherbee nods to himself and walks b ack to the front of the room. "we are starting a new group project today, so I'm going to partner you all up with each other and you will be asked to pick a topic. I don't care what you pick as long as you both work on it 'together' and get it done within the time limit I give you." The teacher said. "When the project is due, I expect you and your partner to help present it in front of the class, whilst the rest of the class takes notes."
