Cheryl woke up two hours later and the first thing she noticed was that Toni wasn't in the bed anymore. Then the second thing she noticed was that the snow fall had died down a little bit, but not by much.
"I'm going to be here for a while aren't I?"
Cheryl used her arms to push herself towards the headboard of the bed and sighed, looking around the room.
Then the smell hit her.
She slowly and carefully left the soft and comfortable bed and walked into the kitchen with quiet footsteps.
That's where she saw the pink-haired girl moving around the kitchen effortlessly. "Morning, Cheryl!" Toni said delightfully when she finally noticed the redhead in the threshold of the room.
"Morning, Toni." Cheryl said, walking toawrds the dinner table and sitting down. "What time is it?"
"Almost 12."
Already?
Cheryl released a breath and pulled out her phone from her back pocket, smiling when she noticed a text from one of the group chats she was in.
Josie🎤🎼: Uhh... this snow is going to be the death of me.
Veronica🖤👩🏻: I agree... I was supposed to go over to Reggie's house today to start working on the project.
Veronica🖤👩🏻: Look's like that's not a possiblity now.
Reggie💪🏈: I'll drive to you.
Veronica🖤👩🏻: As much as I love you.
Veronica🖤👩🏻: Please don't do that
Veronica🖤👩🏻: We were lucky enough to be able to be English partners. Let's NOT make it just me doing the school work and you in the hospital with a broken leg or arm.
