~Chapter 6~

Toni's eyes fluttered open the morning after, with the sun shining through her open curtains and the sound of motorcycles outside.

Toni always woke up like that. With all the loud noise and rumbling of the serpents outside, getting ready for a long, exhausting day at work and school.

Except usually there would be a long bang at her front door, signaling that it was time to get up.

That morning, she didn't expect to wake up at 10:12 with a redhead wrapped around her waist, sleeping soundly.

Toni somewhat expected that she would wake up the next morning and Cheryl would be gone. That Cheryl thought differently about the feeling of staying on the southside for the night.

Cheryl.

Toni smiled at the redhead laying in her arms.

It felt quick.

Their relationship... or whatever was happening.

But it felt right.

Toni fumbled for her phone on the nightstand beside the bed, making sure that she didn't wake up the sleeping female next to her.

Her hand eventually came in contact with the phone. She pulled it towards herself and switched it on.

"Are we late for school?" Toni asked herself, reaching to text someone about it.

Toni🐍💚: Is there school today?

Fangs:🔪🏳️‍🌈:  No, look outside.

Toni🐍💚:  I can't at the moment.

Fangs:🔪🏳️‍🌈:  Why?

Toni had to make up an excuse. She didn't need the serpents to know that Cheryl stayed over last night and is currently wrapped around her body.

Toni🐍💚: I'm too lazy to get up

Fangs:🔪🏳️‍🌈:  Toni Topaz is never lazy

Fangs:🔪🏳️‍🌈:  Who are you again?

Toni🐍💚:  Very funny.

Fangs:🔪🏳️‍🌈:  Anyways, it's snowing pretty bad outside at the moment.

Toni🐍💚: Great.

Fangs:🔪🏳️‍🌈: So they just ended up cancelling it for the day

Toni🐍💚:  Three day weekend, perfect.

Fangs:🔪🏳️‍🌈: Are you okay?

Fangs:🔪🏳️‍🌈: you don't usually text like this

Toni🐍💚: I'm fine. Just glad that we don't have to get up early today.

Fangs:🔪🏳️‍🌈:  Honestly. Thank god for that.

Fangs:🔪🏳️‍🌈:  Not get your beauty sleep, Tiny.

Fangs:🔪🏳️‍🌈:  I'll make sure Sweet Pea doesn't go knocking on your door today.

Toni🐍💚:  Thank you, seriously.
