Rose sat on her bed, curled up into a ball, her chin resting on her knees. The Apocalypse had promised they would get some sleep before they headed off on the next adventure. It had come as a relief, as she wasn't sure how much longer she could deal with Mickey.

All throughout their time on the tour of the TARDIS, the man had gone on about how the Apocalypse was going to dump her in the end, how she wasn't like Sarah Jane Smith, how she was always leaving them alone. It shouldn't have bothered her . . . but it did. It scared her that maybe Mickey would eventually be right, and the Apocalypse would just dump her somewhere else.

It hurt. It really did.

She jumped when there was a knock on the door. "Yeah?" she asked. She was glad when the head that poked around the door was not one Mickey Smith's. "Come on in," she said.

The Apocalypse entered the room, smiling sadly. "Mickey?" she guessed.

Rose blinked. "How did you know?" she asked.

"I had a boyfriend before I had the Doctor," the Apocalypse explained with a smile. "He went on and on about how eventually my friends would leave me because I was so different. Then the Doctor and the Master found out." She cracked a smile. "One of the best days of my life."

"What did they do?" Rose asked.

"Kicked his sorry arse to hell. I broke it off the next day."

Rose giggled, and the Apocalypse winked. "Thanks."

The Apocalypse nodded before flopping back on the bed. "And I wanted to talk about Reinette."

Rose nodded. "Then talk."

"The reason I went back is because she was part of history," she said. "Nothing more. That is it. Not because I thought of her more than you, not because I cared about her more - "

"Caly, I get it," Rose interrupted. "Believe me, I know. What brought this on?"

The Apocalypse swallowed. "In her letter, she called me Lypsie," she said timidly, sitting up. "I haven't heard or seen that name in a couple of centuries."

"Why?" Rose asked softly, knowing this must be a sore topic.

The Apocalypse looked at the nightstand next to them, and a picture frame appeared on it. She picked it up and held it out to Rose. She took it, and she understood immediately.

There was the Sixth Apocalypse, smiling happily, arms linked with a brown-haired woman in a blue, pink, and white three-quarter sleeved shirt, short white shorts, and a jeweled band around her forehead. "Peri," she recognized.

"That was her nickname for me," the Apocalypse nodded. "I met her during my fifth regeneration. I didn't know she would become one of the closest companions ever. She called me Lypsie one day during an adventure, and it just stuck." She tapped the bracelets they wore. "She had an identical one. Bronze with pink diamonds and pearls. When she was gone, I took mine off and never put it on again."

"It was that bad?" Rose asked.

"It was that bad," the Apocalypse nodded, biting her lip. "And now Jack's gone, and all that I can think about is the necklace he gave me, and how I wish I'd kept it."

"I want him back, too," Rose admitted. "More than I want Mickey onboard."

The Apocalypse's face hardened. "We can leave him back on Earth if you want," she began.

"No," Rose said quickly, shaking her head. "No, we are not doing that. If he wants to see the universe, he can. But what he's saying to me . . . "

"Don't believe him," the Apocalypse advised. "Don't you dare."

Rose nodded. "Is it OK if I . . . " She held up the frame.

The Apocalypse smiled. "Keep it," she nodded. "She is our older sister, after all."

Rose smiled and set the photo down on her nightstand, next to the picture she had of herself, Jack, and the last Apocalypse, and the picture her mum had taken on New Year's Day, of her and the current Apocalypse. "Night, Lypsie," she said.

"Night, Rose," the Apocalypse said with a small laugh, ruffling her hair before heading out the door.

Rose fell asleep with a smile on her face.

I think my goal of my postings today is to give people an outrageous amount of feels. Shout-out to girlwhowaited1110 for guessing it was Peri Brown, companion of the Fifth and Sixth Doctors, that called Apocalypse "Lypsie." :) Peri Brown and the Sixth Apocalypse, portrayed by Nina Dobrev, off to the side along with a theme of remembrance that I think fits anytime a companion is remembered, "Into Eternity" from Thor: The Dark World.

Also, another point of questions that I wanted to get through: TheDifferentGeek asked me in "Diamond Memories" if the Doctor was going to come back. My answer: I have him coming back in two distinct places, but that got me thinking . . . what if the Doctor did survive Gallifrey as well?

So, what do you all think? Would you like me to find a way to integrate the Doctor back into the story? I could probably find a way, but it would be the Apocalypse who would still be the main star of the show here. I would really like to know the answer somewhere in this book, because if you want me to do it, I'll start whipping up ways immediately, because I already know where I'm thinking of doing it. >:)

Keep watch out for "Rise of the Cybermen!"
