A solid fix-it, again. :) Because this is so short, and I just really hated the episode. Enjoy!

"Never seen a Hoix for a while," the Apocalypse said cheerily as they entered the warehouse in London. "Not the smartest of creatures, but they do a hell of a lot of damage."

"So how do we defeat it?" Rose asked.

The Apocalypse smiled at Rose. She was asking about defeat, not death. Good girl. "Usually hot oil and water mix will do it," she answered.

Rose blinked. "Seriously?"

"Seriously," the Apocalypse nodded, pulling a few jars out of her pockets. "Get me one of the buckets, yeah?" Rose nodded and ran to get the said bucket, and the Apocalypse started mixing the contents together. "Now, whatever you do, don't get the blue bucket," the Apocalypse warned.

"The blue," Rose nodded. "Got it."

"Right, then." The Apocalypse grinned. "Run!"

The Apocalypse was waiting for the Hoix to reveal itself when Rose suddenly screamed. "Caly! Caly, the trap!"

She took off running, looking around corners. "Where's he gone?" she shouted. "Can you see him?"

"There he is!" Rose called back, and the Apocalypse ran straight into her. Rose stopped. "No! Watch out!" The Apocalypse looked around, blinking. "There!"

"Where?" the Apocalypse asked in exasperation. "Where?"

Rose ran off, and the Apocalypse huffed, running down another hallway, when she saw the Hoix in a doorway, growling at a terrified young blonde man. She creeped up, then took a pork chop from her pocket and dangled it above the Hoix. "Here, boy," she cooed, drawing its attention away. "Eat the food. Come on, look at the lovely food. Isn't that nice? Isn't it? Yes, it is." She glared at the boy, who stared at her incredulously. "Get out of here, quickly," she ordered before going back to her calming tone at the Hoix. "That's a boy. Wouldn't you like a porky-choppy, then?" She glared. "I said run!"

The young man turned to run when Rose burst past him, and the Apocalypse's eyes widened, but before she could say anything, Rose poured the steaming contents over the Hoix, which only growled. "Wrong one!" the Apocalypse huffed. "You made it worse!"

"You said blue!" Rose protested.

"I said not blue!" The Apocalypse huffed when the Hoix took off after her sister. "Hold on!" she called, taking off after the Hoix. She managed to distract the Hoix enough to get it off of Rose's tail, then Rose appeared, coming back with the bucket the Apocalypse had pointed out before. The Apocalypse watched proudly as Rose took off after the Hoix, before she frowned, stopping next to the young man, who was staring at her still. "Hold on, don't I know you?"

"Caly!" Rose called, running off, the bucket abandoned.

"Oops!" The Apocalypse ran after her. "Let's go!"

They ran inside the TARDIS, and the Apocalypse sent it off before they could get into any more trouble.

"It's amusing, really, how everything happens in London," the Apocalypse said conversationally as they later walked down the streets of London. "There was the Slitheen, then the Sycorax, the Hoix . . . London really is where everything happens, innit?"

"Definitely," Rose giggled, slipping her arm through hers and smiling happily. "So, what do we do now?"

"Not Barcelona," the Apocalypse sighed. "I don't want another problem with parallel worlds." Rose grinned. "A normal day would just be - " She paused when her sonic screwdriver buzzed. "Nice . . . oh, I always speak too soon," she grumbled, pulling out her sonic screwdriver and narrowing her eyes. "Ooo, shimmer," she mused.
