"THE CONCLAVE MUST be starting." Kya comments as horns sounded through Polis.

"Cool." Murphy mumbles, jumping off the bed and walking towards Kya. "You see anything?" At his normal behavior Kya turns to him, glaring and gesturing towards Clarke who was sitting silently in a chair in the corner of the room. Murphy glances towards Clarke before turning back to Kya. "Oh, come on. What? Bunch of Grounders fighting to the death to see who gets the A.I. drilled in their brain, that doesn't sound fun to you?"

Murphy's words seemed to set Clarke off as she jumped up from her seat, banging her hands on the doors that were keeping them locked in the room. "Hey... Clarke... I'm sorry. I know how much she meant to you." Murphy apologizes.

"This has nothing to do with me." Clarke mumbles before turning to Kya and Murphy. "We need to make sure that Aden wins." Interrupting them the doors suddenly opens, Titus walking in.

"What, you come here to finish the job?" Murphy questions, glaring at the older man.

"No. I'm here to fulfill my vow to Lexa. Put these on." Titus exclaims, handing them grounder clothes to conceal their identities.

"Look, the door we were banging on for the last 24 hours is open. Let's use it." Murphy states, when he notices Clarke standing still.

Clarke ignores Murphy, throwing her clothes at Titus. "You killed your commander. How are you still free?"

"I'm the only Flamekeeper. Now, please. If you go now, you can slip in with the crowds arriving for tomorrow's conclave." Titus explains.

"You heard the man. All right. Let's-" Murphy begins, grabbing ahold of Clarke and Kya.

"I need to see Aden first." Clarke states.

"That's out of the question. The Natblidas have begun the Purification Ritual." Titus tells them.

"That sounds kind of private, Clarke." Murphy chimes in.

Again ignoring Murphy, Clarke turns back to Titus. "Where?"

-

Kya had just finished pulling the cloak Titus had given her on when they walked into the throne room, interrupting the purification ritual.

"They're just kids." Murphy mumbles. Titus crosses the room towards Aden, whispering to him. Once Titus walks away Aden glances at Kya and Clarke. Both girls walk towards him, moving to the side of the room so they could talk in private.

"I'm sorry to disturb you." Clarke begins.

"Would you like a moment with her?" Aden questions, gesturing to Lexa.

"No. I'm here to see you. You made me a promise to support my people." Clarke reminds him.

"If Heda's spirit chooses me." Aden interrupts.

"Yes." Kya chimes in. "Will you still?"

"We all will. Lexa made each of us vow it. We loved her." Aden tells them. The tender moment is ruined by the sound of a familiar voice.

"Out of our way." Kya rolls her eyes as Roan's voice booms through the throne room. Kya squint when she sees another familiar person. One of the queens warriors who had participated in Kya's punishment during her time in Ice Nation.

"You." Kya breathes out, yanking her sword out of its sheath. It seemed both women shared the same feeling of dislike for one another as Ontari ran towards Kya, ready to attack her. Both women tackle each other to the ground, Kya on top. Before the blonde could slash Ontari's throat with her sword Titus grabs ahold of her hand.

"No." Titus mumbles.

"Put the sword down, Kya." Roan speaks up.

Kya whirls around, glaring at him. "You don't know tell me what to do, Roan." Turning back to Ontari Kya delivers one swift, but powerful punch before jumping off the brunette.

Ontari groaned in pain before jumping up as well, trying to intimidate Kya by moving closer to her so the two women were chest to chest. "When I am Heda and the king bows to me, you and every last member of Skaikru will die."

-

"You do not belong here." Titus yells as Kya, Clarke, and Murphy walk into the hidden temple.

"Really? Why is my blood decorating your floor?" Murphy questions sarcastically.

"There's nothing left for you in Polis. Why have you not gone?" Titus comments, turning back to what he had been working on.

"Yeah. That's what I'd like to know." Murphy mumbles.

"We need to talk about Ontari. She wasn't trained here. Why would you let her into the Conclave?" Clarke asks, moving towards Titus.

"I could always just kill her." Kya speaks up.

Clarke halfheartedly glares at the blonde before turning back to Titus. "Ontari has the blood of the Commanders. It is her birthright to compete for the Flame."

"Is she really in there?" Clarke questions eyeing the chip Titus is holding.

"Of course she is." Titus responds as he places the chip back into its case.

"What does it matter who wins, huh?" Murphy mumbles, moving closer to Clarke. "I mean, listen to me. If your girlfriend really is in that thing, then we have nothing to worry about, right? Clarke, let's just get out of here while we can."

"It matters." Titus snaps causing the trio to look towards him. "I've served 4 Commanders as Fleimkepa, none of them half as wise or strong as Lexa kom Trikru. The truth is, she was all those things even before Ascension. The Flame deepens what's already there. If the spirit of the Commander should choose Ontari, the Ice Nation will control everything, and Skaikru will face her wrath."

"Not really a silver-lining type of guy, is he?" Murphy jokes causing Kya to roll her eyes. Now really wasn't the time.

"So how do we make sure Aden wins? He was Lexa's choice. You know that." Kya speaks up, looking between Clarke and Titus.

"And she will choose him." Titus nods.

"What's that?" Murphy questions as a horn is heard in the distance.

Titus turns to them in confusion. "The victory horn."
Slipping into the throne room was quite hard considering all the people crowed in there. Kya had just stepped in when she was pulled to the side by Roan. "Chon sounds victory horn?" (Who sounds the victory horn?) Titus yells.

"What's going on?" Kya questions, turning towards Roan.

"Shh." Roan shushes the blonde, placing his finger on his lips. Looking towards the front of the room, Kya's eyes widen when she notices Ontari sitting in Lexa's throne covered in blood.

"What is the meaning of this?" Titus questions.

Kya lets out a gasp as Ontari pulls Aden's head out of a bag. "Aden." Kya begins, lunging forward while Roan holds her back.

"If she sees you, she'll have your head too." Roan tells Kya.

"Guys, I think we should get out of here." Murphy speaks up. They ignore Murphy, continuing to watch Ontari as she throws Aden's head to the ground.

"I win."
