Jennifer is in a loveless marriage with her husband, Alex. She is tired of his treatment towards her, and slowly starts falling for her steamy bodyguard, James Nava. Will Alex find out?
It's a week later and we haven't really done much, Jennifer has mostly been in the studio. But other then that we've just been hanging out and laughing.
But today we're gonna go out to a fancy restaurant together, I'm kinda thinking it's a date, but I know she thinks it's just dinner. She still hasn't seen Alex since that one time, and I don't think she wants to.
I'm at my brothers house right now since we didn't see him that one day. We're just hanging out and I decided to tell him about Jennifer. "Wait, so you've been working for her for 3 years.. and you're just now catching feelings?" My brother Eric says. "I mean I've always been attracted to her, but since she's sorta available, I've just now started having hope." I say and finish my beer. "I don't know man, I hope it works out though." "Yeah me too." I say and stand up. "I'll see you again soon." I say as I walk to the door. "See ya." He yells.
I'm on my way to pick up Jen from the studio, then we're gonna head back and get ready to go out.
I'm at the studio now, Jennifer comes out and gets in the car. "Hey baby." She climbs in the car. "Hi, how'd it go in there." I ask and pull out of the parking lot. "Pretty good, we're still going to dinner right." "Yeah of course." I say.
"Ok good, I haven't dressed up in so long, I'm excited." She says and smiles at me. I laugh and we arrive home.

We've been on the couch for about an hour, now we're both getting ready. I wore a white button up shirt with black pants and a matching black blazer over the shirt, and I left two of the buttons unbuttoned. I left my hair shaggy with it's natural curls, but it was still tamed.
I waited in the kitchen on my phone for Jennifer to come down. She came down the stairs, I didn't look up from my phone, I heard her sit on the couch, so I looked over, all I saw was the back of her head, but I could tell she was putting on her shoes.
I walked over to the couch, then I saw her. She looked amazing. I just stood there in awe, I've seen her dressed up before, but this time it felt more special, I couldn't believe how beautiful she was.

I didn't realize how hard I was staring until she looked up from putting on her shoes. "James? Hellooo?" She said waving her hand in front of me. "Oh sorry, I'm sorry." I say shaking my head. She laughed. "It's ok" she said shrugging her shoulders and standing up. "Let's go I'm starving." She said. We walk out to the car, and head to the restaurant.

Dinner goes pretty well, we're laughing, talking and flirting, lots of flirting. I obviously don't mind though.
"Tomorrow can you drive me somewhere?" She picks at her food.
"Yeah, sure, where?" I ask. She gets pretty quiet, and her emotion changes.
"I need to meet with my lawyer.." she says looking away.
"Your lawyer, what fo-." She interrupts me. "To get the divorce papers." She puts her fork down and leans back in the booth crossing her arms. She seems annoyed with the situation her and Alex are in. But I also know that she's really hurt.
"Oh-I-." I sigh. "It's fine, it's no biggie" she says and shrugs. But I know that it's actually a big deal. She makes things not a big deal to cope with them, I know her.
She raises her hand at a waiter. "Can we get a check over here?" A waiter comes over. "Will this be all together?" He asks referring to the payment. "Um no, split it." Jen says. "No, no, I got it." I am not about to let her pay for this. "James, it's fi-." I cut her off. "Jennifer, I got it." I say and smirk at her, she rolls her eyes and leans back.

We get in the car after dinner, this night seems to be going by too fast, unfortunately...
"It's only 9:00, wanna do something else?" I ask. "Yeah sure." She scrolls through her phone.
We're in the car for about 20 minutes, then we arrive at the beach. "The beach?!" She says. "Yeah, why not, it's a beautiful night." I look at her. "But I'm in heels." She pouts. "Take them off." I shrug. "Ughh, fine."
We get out, and once we get to the sand she takes off her heels and holds them in her hand.
We slowly start to walk down the beach
"What are you scared of?" Jennifer randomly asks. "Uhh, I'm not really sure." I say making eye contact. "There's nothing at all?" She asks. "I guess I'm scared of letting my emotions get the best of me." "Ohh, so you're one of those tough guys that doesn't like to cry in front of people?" She giggles, I laugh. "No, I mean like, I don't want my emotions to take over, like I don't want them to tear me down, I don't want them to make me give up." I say looking away.
"Wow James, I'm glad you can open up to me like that." She says and nudges my shoulder since we're walking pretty close.
"What about you, what are you afraid of?" I ask
She looks away for a second. "I guess I'm most afraid of being alone, or not being good enough." She says looking down at her feet. "Really? You're already good enough, you're amazing." I say.
She smiles.
"Well not everyone thinks that." She says looking at me. I grin and look forward. "Let's walks to the dock." She says pointing to the dock starting in the sand, and ending in the water. I nod and follow behind her.
The dock was pretty close so we were already there. She walks to the ledge of the dock and leans over resting her arms on it. "So beautiful.." I say and stand beside her. "I know right, look at the moonlight shining on the ocean." I smile. "I wasn't talking about the ocean." I say looking at her. She turns around and has her back against the ledge now. I can tell she's blushing.
"James don't go all soft on me now.." she says with a smirk. "I can't help it." I say and look at her and up and down. "You're really something." She says shaking her head and looks to the side. I step in front of her, so we're close, but not that close.
She turns back facing me, and stares into my eyes with this look I can't read. "hi.." she says softly and so sexy with this cute little grin on her face. "Hi." I say and step closer. Our faces are now inches apart. "you're so gorgeous.." I say almost whispering, then I glance down at her lips.
"if you're gonna kiss me..." she pauses and brings her mouth to my ear and whispers, "then kiss me.." she pulls back and bites her lip. I eye up and down her body, and I step Even closer wrapping both my arms around her waist pulling her in, and she rests her arms over my shoulders.
I hold her chin up a little bringing her lips to mine, and we kiss, we finally kiss. It wasn't just a peck either, it was passionate. We pulled back and just starred into each others eyes. Then she hugged me tight.
We were just standing there in each others arms, I wanna stay like this forever.
