In The Wrong

7-a one time thing

"Shit Jen! Then what the hell do you want?!" She asks sounding very annoyed.

"Leah, I-I'm sorry, I just can't.."

"Jen..Ugh..you know what it's fine." She makes a fake smile and stands up then walks out.

"Wait Lee!" But she keeps walking.

I change into the clothes Leah brought me, then I flop down on the bed. "Shit." I say out loud and roll my eyes. I totally lead her on, why the hell would I kiss her if I didn't want it to lead to something more? I'm also confused to why that happened in the first place, does Leah like girls? Do I like girl's? I honestly don't know, but me and Leah definitely need to talk about this in the morning.

I wake up in a pretty good mood, but then I remember what happened last night. "Ughhhhh" I say and stretch. I get up, brush my teeth and all that shit. Then I head downstairs.

I see Leah in the kitchen leaning on the island drinking a coffee. "Hey, good morning." I say trying to sound normal. "Oh, good morning." She says while forcing a smile. "There's some coffee if you want it." She says looking over her shoulder to me. "Oh thanks." I say

I walk over to the coffee maker and pour some in a mug, then I walk over and stand beside Leah. "Sooo.." I say and look  around then at her. "What?" She says sternly. "We should talk about last night.." I say and sit on a stool. "Ok." She says and sits on the stool beside me. "Look Leah I was just not really myself last night, I wasn't thinking straight, a-and I was just vulnerable and upset, and you honestly did comfort me, but, I just couldn't do all that. You're my best friend, I've already lost my husband, I can't lose you too.." I say and look up at her. She sighs and smiles. "I get it Jen, it wouldn't have been good for us anyways if we did go through with it, I was drinking a little last night, and I was also upset about the whole situation. So we can both agree that it was a one time thing?" She asks. "Yeah, that's all it was." I say and smile.

" I'm glad we talked about this, so are we good now?" I ask. "Yes we're good." She says and giggles.

"Ok good." I say with a big smile. She rolls her eyes. "So.. what are you gonna do about Alex..?" She asks looking down then back up at me. "Honestly, I don't know.." I say and shrug my shoulders. Leah strokes my hair for a second. "It's fine baby, there's no rush, you should just think about it." She gives me a small grin. "Leah.. I don't want to leave him, he makes me happy.." Leah sighs and looks away. "It's your decision my love, you can give him another chance if that's what you really want."

"I just need to talk to him about it- hear his side of the "story" I guess,Or his apology." I roll my eyes and get goosebumps just by thinking about it.
"Just talk to him about it mama, either way, I know you'll come out stronger than ever." She says and holds my hand.

"Thankyou Lee." I say and kiss her cheek as I get up. "Anytime Jen." She says and smiles.

"Could you drive me back to my place?" I ask while grabbing my stuff from off the couch.

"Are you sure you wanna go back right now? You can stay another night if you need to think about it."

"It's fine, I just need to get it over with. I can't avoid it forever.." I say and grin.

"Ok, let's go, we can stop and get some food." She says and grabs her keys.

"Alright." I say then I hear a knock at the door.
