~Dixie's POV~
"Mom!!" I shouted. "Yes, Dixie?" She replied. I ran downstairs to my mom, "So- uhm...I was wondering if we can meet the new neighbors?". "I've never seen you this excited to meet someone, let alone social interaction" She said, "But, that's what I like to see, go ahead, hurry". I turned away from my mom and faced the door, walking towards it. I opened the door and walked out, immediately shutting it behind myself. I went to our new neighbors house, and knocked. There, the same blonde girl that I had seen, opened the door, still soaking wet from the rain. And so, I was wet too. "Here, come inside, it's cold out. " She said. She moved out the way so I can enter. Once I entered, I was astonished how beautiful the place was, but...It was empty. Still big though! The blond closed the door. "So, what's your name?". I replied with, "Dixie, but my- uh, 'friends' call me Dix. Yours?".
"Addison, Addison Rae" She said.
I smiled and said, "lovely!"
It was silent, I looked into Addison's eyes, and just stared. She stared back. I closed my eyes and suddenly felt my self leaning in for a kiss, but before I can kiss her, I felt a finger on my lips, as if I was being silenced. I opened my eyes and saw Addison giggling silently, she said "To early, don't you think?"
I nodded, disappointed, I stepped back.
I asked, "uhm...you, wanna- maybe...come over, today, sometime?".
She replied with, "I'd love to!"
