It was a fine day in the month of July. I had to start my routine of going to my university after two months of summer holidays. Today is yet another new start since it's day one of a new semester. I'll be a sophomore student this year.

Waking up early in the morning after holidays is such a pain. Trust me. I almost had to set my alarm for every 10 minutes so that I don't miss my classes on the first day itself. After struggling harder than ever to wake up from my bed, I got myself ready to leave my house. I ran to the bus stop which was just minutes away from my home and got on the bus that came just at the right time when I arrived.

I went to the train station where I had to catch my usual train to reach my university. Once I boarded the train, I took my earphones from my bag, connected it to the phone and placed the earpieces on my ears. I turned on the music of my favourite artists and let it do its magic of making me forget the whole world around me. I would usually read a few pages of the book that I'd currently be reading or look at the world outside of the window from the train. But today I woke up early. Therefore I shut my eyes close and took a small nap.

Just at the right time, I woke up and already I was about to reach the train station that was near my university. After a few minutes of walking, I had finally reached the gates of my university. I showed my identity card for verification purposes as I was told to and went inside the cafeteria to meet my friends. We'd always go to our class together.

My gang is a bunch of lovely, tipsy cutesy and cracky souls. I became friends with them during my freshman year and we have become inseparable after that. People say that we are a bunch of weirdos who hype over Asian songs and dramas but they don't know that they are missing out the fun part. We are a gang of six with all possible mixes of personalities and characters.

When I entered the cafeteria I spotted my gang of friends munching over morning sandwiches hurriedly. Kim Hana and Park Naf - the only two girls I trust in the whole university waved their hands as they saw me coming towards them.

"Good morning fam." I greeted them.

"Good morning y/n." My friends greeted me back in unison.

"Where's my sandwich Jimin?" I asked him.

"Taehyung ate it. I'm sorry." Jimin admitted.

"What am I supposed to do y/n? I was too hungry." Taehyung said casually.

"Get me one Kim Taehyung." I ordered him. "I'm dying out of hunger here."

"Nah..." He brushed it off. "Jungkook... Get her a sandwich, will ya?"

"If Jungkook gets one for you I bet that Naf is going to feel jealous." Hana commented.

"Yah... I won't really mind. I'm not that jealous type." Naf smacked Hana's head playfully.

"So how's your love life Kim Hana and Park Naf?" I questioned them and the girls were a blushing mess.

"Woah... Look at their faces y/n. It's turning pink." Taehyung teased them.

"Stop teasing our girlfriends." Jimin and Jungkook answered in chorus.

"If both of you get me something to eat then I might consider your wish." I told them.

"Pfft... Fine... We'll go and get something for you to eat." Jimin said. He took Jungkook and Taehyung along with him.

"Ok girls... Tell me something new. How was your vacation? Had fun?" I asked them.

"Well... Jimin and I hung out a few times. I went over to his place once." Hana said.

"What? Really? That's great. Did something happen at the house?" Naf asked Hana.

"Yah... You dirty-minded girl. Nothing happened between us." Hana blushed.

"Lol... As if you two are the most innocent of all souls. I know how dirty-minded you and Jimin are. I still remember that time when you almost said what you'd do the night you get married." We burst into fits of laughter.

"That was one time." Hana admitted sheepishly. "It's not fair to tease me again and again." Hana pouted.

"But it's fun to tease you, Hana." Naf joked again.

"Omg... You girls are so mean. Wait till I find a chance to tease both of you." Hana fumed.

The boys came back with chocolates and a sandwich for me. We had a little chit chat while I was eating and then we left for our department block. Our classroom was on the fourth floor. We reached the classroom by elevator.

"It seems like for this semester I and Jungkook won't be in the same class as yours because of the elective courses we have chosen." Naf informed sadly.

I gave her a tight hug. "Baby I'll miss you so much. We'll meet you during recess and at lunch."

"Y/n... Our classroom is just next to yours. You can pop in anytime. Plus a few of our classmates will be there too. Come over and say hi to them later." Jungkook said.

"Good for the couple. They are in the same class." Taehyung scoffed.

"Who knows Tae... Either you or y/n will find love this semester." Hana sarcastically made fun of us.

"None of the boys here interest me." I replied dryly.

Just then the most genius guy of my class, Kim Dong Hee made his appearance.

"Aren't you all getting inside the class? It's already time. Don't be kicked out of the class on the first day itself." He warned us. That's what class representatives usually do, isn't it?

We said our goodbyes and got inside our classroom hoping that this year will also pass by happily.
