Namjoon placed me gently on the bed. He took my bag and placed it on the desk.

"I'll ask Dong Hee to get you some painkillers," Namjoon said. As on cue, Dong Hee walked in with a glass of water and medicines.

"I got it already, Namjoon." He said.

"Great. Thanks, kiddo." Namjoon got the medicines from Dong Hee. Meanwhile, I got up and leaned my back against the headrest.

"Have this y/n. You'll feel better." Namjoon handed over the pills to me. I popped it inside my mouth and swallowed it down with a gulp of water.

"Don't you drink water first and then take your pills?" Dong Hee asked.

"Nah. I find this easier. Plus, this is what my mom has taught me."

"Look at your face. Tiredness is written all over it." Dong Hee joked. "You should go to sleep y/n. Good night." Dong Hee waved his hands to me before leaving for his uncle's room.

"Namjoon, if you don't mind, can I get my phone from the bag?"

"Sure thing," Namjoon said.

He took the phone and handed it to me. I quickly texted my mom to inform her about my stay at Dong Hee's house for the night. I didn't expect a reply from her because I know she'd be busy.

"Aren't you going to sleep, Namjoon? It's pretty late."

"I thought of staying here until you fall asleep. I want to make sure you are safe and fine." He smiled at me, his eyes looking at me with kindness.

"I'm fine," I said, reciprocating his smile. "The painkillers will eventually put me to sleep and I'll be alright when the morning comes. Don't worry. Dong Hee must be waiting for you."

He nodded his head in agreement and went out of the room quietly.

"Good night, y/n." He muttered, turning the lights off.

"Good night, Namjoon."

He shut the door with a mild thud. I could hear his footsteps retreating from me slowly. Once he was gone, I laid flat on the bed and covered myself with the blanket to drift off to sleep.

My eyes opened at the sound of the door being knocked from outside. I grunted as I sat upright on the bed.

"Y/n, are you awake?" It was Namjoon.

I lazily rubbed my eyes and answered, "Yeah. Just now." I felt groggy.

"I stopped by to let you know that breakfast is ready."

"I'll be there in a few. Thanks for letting me know, Namjoon."

"Mention not." He said and left. Silence filled up the room again.

I limped towards the bathroom to freshen up. After a while, I went downstairs to the dining room. Professor Seokjin and Dong Hee had already started having breakfast. I politely greeted them while taking my seat next to Dong Hee.

"Good morning, y/n. I hope you are feeling better now." Professor Seokjin asked me.

"Yes, professor. I'm alright now." I replied. My eyes searched for Namjoon but he was nowhere to be found. "I assume that Yoo Bi is sleeping." I casually asked, hoping to know about Namjoon as well.

"Nah. Nah. She's done with her breakfast already." Professor Seokjin informed.

"It's Sunday. So she's at the backyard playing with Namjoon." Dong Hee whispered to me.

"That's great," I chimed.

I made myself a peanut butter sandwich to eat. Once done with that, I decided to walk off to the backyard. But the Kim family was being too nice to me and didn't let me go with a half-filled stomach. Professor Seokjin made sure I ate a few more sandwiches and had a glass of milk at the end.

Finally, Dong Hee took me to the backyard. There I could see the happy and carefree Namjoon playing with Yoo Bi. I was surprised because I've only seen him as a silent and strict professor.

"Mind if we join you, Yoo Bi?" Dong Hee interrupted.

Yoo Bi stopped running behind Namjoon and came to Dong Hee to hug him. Dong Hee picked his cousin from the ground and kissed her cheeks, showing off his affection as her brother. I spotted Namjoon looking at the two with a wide grin on his face. His dimples were seeking my attention again.

"Wanna play a game of ping pong?" Namjoon offered.

"I would love to," I replied.

"Great. Let's get started." He handed me the racket and the ball so that we could commence the game.

It started well. It seemed like I'd win the game. But it changed when I missed hitting the ball due to the wind that blew right on my face. The anxiety of losing the match made me miss every serve.

"Tada! I won three sets in a row." Namjoon was delighted at my defeat.

"Looks like you are a dark horse when it comes to playing ping pong." I chuckled.

"Lol. If you hadn't missed in between, I wouldn't have won." He laughed at me.

"Blame the wind, Namjoon. Blame it."

Just then, my phone rang loudly to interrupt our moment.

"Gimme a minute. I'll be back." I excused myself and walked to the living room.

"Good day, mom."

"Good day, hun. I saw your message a few minutes ago." My mom spoke from the other end. "How did the party go?"

"All good. I enjoyed it." I told her, obviously hiding the encounter I had with my father.

"Good to hear. Why did you stay at your friend's place though, dear?" She questioned me.

"The party ended a bit later than it was supposed to. Hence I had to stay here for the night." I lied.

There was a long pause before she spoke back to me."Oh. When will you come back home?"

"I was about to leave. Are you at home now?" I asked her.

"I should be at home for lunch. I wanted to spend some time with you. It's Sunday after all."

"Yeah, mom. I'll be there soon. See you then." I hung up the phone.

I went to the backyard only to witness all of them huddled up together in the patio.

"Y/n, what do you want to have for lunch?" Professor Seokjin asked me.

"Mom called me and she wants me to be at home for lunch. I'm so sorry, professor."

"What a bummer! You'll be missing uncle's special Sunday meals." Dong Hee said.

"Her mom is looking out for her, Dong Hee. She must be worried." Namjoon intervened. "Come on y/n, I'll drop you off at home."

Hi ARMYs. It's good to be back after a long time. I'm sorry again for the late update. University is draining out my energy. As a final year student, it's almost difficult for me to regularly update the book. I feel bad for keeping you all waiting. I wish I was able to update sooner.

Thanks for all the love and support that I've been constantly receiving. I feel so happy. Your votes and comments keep me going whenever I felt like giving up on writing fanfics. Much love to all of you out there.

Pandemic is still on and it's really hard to cope up with my mental health. It's taking a toll on me as I try to adapt myself to the new normal. But as BTS mentioned earlier, life goes on. Let's live on. Let's try our best to stay healthy and happy.

Did y'all look at the concept pictures of BE album? Who's room did you like? For me, it was hard to choose one. Also, I'm in love with the retro concept of this year's season greetings. All of them looked so fab.

I shall head off to sleep and dream of Dong Hee. Bye bye...
