Chapter 21

When I woke up I felt a strong pair of arms around me. I smiled and sighed, remembering the events of the night before. After our short make-out session we sat on the couch and watched a movie. Don't ask me what movie, because most of the time I was on top of Nick taking in his scent that I have longed for. This past week was stressful. I just enjoyed his being here with me. A knock at the door woke me from my thoughts. I quickly slipped out of bed and tiptoed downstairs. I opened the door to see a man standing there. "Hello," I said reluctantly.

"Yes. Hello. Are you Emily?" the man asked.

"Yes, how may I help you?"

"I was sent from my boss to deliver a message to you," he held out a piece of paper.

"If I may ask," I said in a shaky voice as I reached to grab the note,"who is your boss?"

A small smile crept on his face, "Timothy."  I quickly slammed the door and I heard Nick running down the stairs. I couldn't concentrate. The room was spinning. Then everything went black.

When I woke up I looked around a familiar room that wasn't mine. It was Nick's. As soon as I realized where I was I frantically looked for Nick, but he was no where in sight. I sighed and got up out of the bed. "What did the letter say?" I asked myself. I looked around the room to find the letter. It wasn't in here. I walked downstairs and looked everywhere for Nick. Where could he be?

Nick's POV

I was currently on my way to Molly's house to pick up Danny. I can't believe that bastard threatened to take her away from me! I can't let that happen. I figured Molly had enough of Danny since he was there most of the week. "Hey Danny?" I asked once he was in his car seat in the back.

"Yeah Nick?"

"Do you like Eli?"

"I LWOVE ELI!"

"Do you want to spend the night at his house tonight and maybe tomorrow?"

"YWES!" I just chuckled at his response. Okay, time to call Eli and tell him that Danny is coming.

After I dropped off Danny I went to Emily's house to pick out some clothes for her to wear on our little trip. After I was done packing I went over to my house to check on Emily. She ran to the door and hugged me as soon as I walked in. Then she saw her suitcase in my hand and looked up at me confused. I just lead her out to my car and motioned her to get into the passenger seat as I opened her door. She just smiled shyly and got in.

It was a quiet ride, Emily fell asleep within ten minutes of the ride. We had about 15 minutes until we would reach our final destination. I looked to my left and saw a familiar field filled with sunflowers. Then an idea hit me. I planned everything out in my head for the rest of the drive.

When we arrived I picked Emily up in my arms and carried her up to the bed room. When I went to set her down on the bed she wouldn't let go of my neck. I leaned forward and connected our lips.
