Eli and I talked for a while. I told him about my date and how I was now Nick's girlfriend. After I told him he became quiet. Anger flashed through his eyes. "DID THAT KISS MEAN NOTHING TO YOU?" I sat there, not wanting to answer. If I did it would hurt him. we sat there in silence. "I'm so sorry Em, its just. That kiss meant everything too me." "Eli, I'm so sorry. I didn't, I didn't mean." "I know Emmy. you were just excited." He only called me Emmy if he was super sorry. "Thanks for understanding." "Plus, I would never date you," he said in an almost too serious tone. "Well, why not," I said irritated by his choice in words. "Because," he started, "You're like my little sister." This made me feel better. "And you will always be my big brother, Eli. Promise you'll never go away?" "Promise."

I'm so glad he promised this. Because no matter how mad I got at him or vise versa, I always wanted him there. My thoughts were rudely interrupted when I felt a slam of a body into my body. "Eli!" Then the real pain started. He tickled me. He knew I was embarrassingly ticklish! "Stop it!" I could barely even get the words out between breaths and laughter. "Say you love me!" Wow, this escalated quickly. I do love him, but as a brother. But my mind is on one thing right now. I. Want. Him. To. Stop. "I love you," I screamed it so loud I swore people in Alaska could hear me.

You know the great thing about Nick moving next door? He hears everything. So just as I screamed I love you to Eli, he walked into my house. "Oh, hey Nick. I bet this looks odd." It did look odd. Eli was on top of me and I just screamed I love you. Gee life why you got to do this to me? "Whats going on?" Man did Nick sound mad. His face got red too. Man he is hot when he is mad. Ok back on topic here Emily. "Nothing, Eli just decided to tackle me. Nothing out of the ordinary." He kind of gave Eli a death glare. "Could i speak to you Emily?" Oh no. What did I do now.

Nick's POV

When I walked in to see if Emily could hang out the rest of the day, I see Eli on top of her and her screaming I love you to him! I thought I was in a relationship with Emily. We haven't even said 'I love you' yet. Then she just said that this was usual for them. Man this is so messed up. I wanted to storm out of there so fast, but I want to hear an explanation first. "Could I speak to you, Emily?" She looked scared. She was cute scared. SNAP OUT OF IT MAN!

'What was going on before I got here?" "Nothing Nick, I promise." "How do I know you're not lying," I asked this with a smirk on my face. She knew what I wanted. "How about this." After that she stepped up to me on her tip toes, being she is like 7 inches shorter than me, and kissed me. And it wasn't a 'I just want you to believe me' kiss, but a real kiss. She kisses better than anyone I've ever kissed, but I wasn't going to show it. After we were done I gave her my signature 'bad boy' smirk. "I've had better." "No you have not," she said while she smacked me in the arm. She hits hard. "No need to be violent," I said while rubbing my arm. "Do you want me to make it feel better?" "Yes." I couldn't help but smile when she said this. I leaned down to kiss her again then WHAM! She smacks my other arm. "What was that for," I yelled. "You told me to make it feel better. Well now that one feels better than the other one, doesn't it?" That's when I grabbed her and pushed her against the wall. "Don't get smart with me." I guess I didn't do a very good job at intimidating her, because she just burst out laughing. God, I love her laugh. I don't know how I lived without her all these years. I love her. And with that thought I kissed her. This one more intense and filled with more love than ever. If this was my last day on earth, than I would die a happy person.
