we took multiple trips from the car to my apartment bringing in our essentials. when we were finally done we changed into our pajamas, lit some candles, and took off our makeup.

ava forced me to learn a few tik tok dances and when i was out of breath, we took a break. we went to my kitchen to make popcorn and get ready for a night of netflix binging.

we heard a few crashes from the other side of the wall and ava looked at me questioningly while i rolled my eyes.

"does he do that a lot?" she asked me.

"all the fucking time" i responded.

"i've only been living here for a week or two and i'm already contemplating moving because that boy is so loud for no reason." i angrily continued.

"give him a break he's too cute to be mad at" ava said flirtingly.

"yeah, yeah, whatever. why don't you go talk to him if you think he's so cute then?" i
questioned.

"that man is for you baby. i saw the way he was looking at you!" she exclaimed.

"he was looking at me like he wanted to choke me!!"

"maybe in bed." ava winked at me, walking towards me. in a deep voice she said, "wOaH wAtCh oUt!!" she sounded just like him.

we started laughing so hard that we were crying. "shut up!" i told her, laughing hysterically, tears running down my face.

once we were done laughing we laid on my couches with our popcorn and blankets and began looking through netflix.

we eventually settled on the kissing booth. cheesy, kinda cringy, yet also kinda cute. it was a love/hate movie that we always watched.

throughout the movie we heard loud talking and music playing from my neighbor.

at the best part of the movie, my dumb neighbor was getting so loud that i paused it and stood up.

"what are you doing?" asked ava.

"i'm going to give him a piece of my mind."
