ava would like to facetime...
i was in the middle of doing my makeup when my phone began to ring. i accepted the facetime call and saw my best friend, ava, on the screen. we've been best friends since we were in the same daycare together.
"hey!! i haven't seen you in forever!" i exclaimed, relieved by the sight of her face... and by forever i meant like a week.
"i know dude! but have you heard?" she asked, and i already knew what she was talking about. that stupid virus.
"ugh, god i am so tired of hearing about that damn corona virus!" i explain, while applying the finishing touch of highlight to the tip of my nose. funnily enough, ava was doing her makeup too, except her makeup was the opposite of mine. she enjoyed wearing boujee ass makeup and beating her face while i wore a more natural look, simply because i honestly kinda suck at makeup.
"it is literally taking over italy and china and apparently it came from someone eating a BAT?? i'm so fucking scared for it to spread here in america... can i come over tonight and we can stock up on shit and prepare for the worst?" she asked me while putting her makeup away and walking out of her house.
"well it looks like you're already on your way" i said, giggling as she walked to her car.
"okay i'll see you soon, i love you bitch! mwah" as ava kissed the camera on her phone, i did the same and we hung up.
i was in silence for about 30 seconds until i heard a crash on the other side of my wall. it was my next door neighbor who never shuts up. my mom was right, i should've splurged and bought a house instead.
