Clara can’t believe it. Emily is dead, her mom is gone, and Dylan isn’t who she thought he was. While Clara’s has just been told some shocking news, Bridgette has some news of her own. She has been staying with David in the wake of Emily’s death. The two have started dating and Bridgette feels worse and worse everyday for keeping some details of their past. David and Bridgette had a one night stand back in high school, but they never speak of it because they fear it will make their relationship awkward. He loves Coldplay and she got him concert tickets to their next show. He is thrilled. Immediately he proclaims his love for her. She cries. He tries to console her but she says she has to tell him something important. She announces “ David, I have something to tell you. I love you. I’ve always loved you and I think you should know the reason I left you. I fell in love with you in high school and when we had that one night stand. I was exhilarated and nervous. I had been waiting for this moment ever since I met you but I just didn’t have a good feeling about it. So I ran away. I roomed with a friend and found out I was pregnant. I wanted to tell you about it but you were doing so well. So I had the baby and I named her Clara. I had her nine months after our night David. Clara is your daughter.”
