POV~ Henry

There are four rules of being a senior.

1. Don't get caught up in ugly relationships.

2. You deserve to celebrate when finals are FINALLY over.

3. Your number one concern is finding a proper college.

4. Have fun! It's your last year of highschool!

(OK that last one might be a little cheesy, but it's true). Anyways, I happen to follow all of those rules, and I hope everyone else does too. Legend is, a long time ago a senior posted those rules on the school board, and no one ever took it down. Tomorrow is the last day of school, and it's going to be a wild ride.

POV~Megan

I glance up from my book as the loud band begins to play the last day of school anthem. Ugh, what a dumb thing to do. We're in high school not preschool.

"Hello everybody!" The overenthusiastic principal screams to the audience. "I hope you're all glad you made it to the end of the school year, especially the seniors!" A blast of screams come from around me, and I roll my eyes. I'm bored all ready.

"Because we held our graduation ceremonies yesterday, today will be nothing but fun for the seniors! We will have activities in the gym, and karaoke in the choir room all day. Movies will be showed in the auditorium as well! As for our other grades, classes will be shortened and your teachers will have fun activities for you guys to do! Thank you and have a blast!"

People scream and holler from around me, pushing and shoving as they all make there way to the doors on each side of the gym. Most of what our high school considers "The Jocks" stay in the gym. I decide to take a run for it and escape to the library. No use trying to have fun with these people.

POV~Henry

"Yeah! Last day of school!!!" I shout, my ears still ringing from the screams and band instruments as the seniors march through the hallway in pride. "WE ARE THE KINGS OF HIGH SCHOOL!" I scream, and everyone cheers.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see a glimpse of white hair escape down the opposite way everyone else is going. One thing you should know about me, my curiosity is stronger than anything else. Not always a good thing.

I sigh and zip the way the person went. I look around the corner and see a girl entering the library. Library!? What is she doing at the library on the most exciting day of high school? My curiosity is feeling strong today, so I casually flounder into the library. I skim the bookshelves for a white haired girl, and I find her in the corner, headphones in with a book in her hand. I realize her "white hair" isn't really white, it's more slightly tinted blue.

I straight up walk over to her, though she doesn't even look up at me. I wave my hand in front of her face, and she sighs and takes her headphones off.

"Can I help you?" She asks in a sarcastic tone.

I move my hand to my hip and raise an eyebrow. "Why are you sitting here alone?"

She rolls her eyes and puts her headphones back on. "High schoolers are dumb."

"Well, that doesn't mean you should just sit here alone! Have some fun."

She blows out a breath and presses something on her phone. "I can't hear you!" She gestures to her headphones.

POV~Megan

I bop my head slightly to my playlist that I've had since I was 10 years old. It has a mix of 80's music all the way to music that just came out last week, though I prefer 80's. When Don't Stop Believing comes on, a smile crosses my face. Probably the only thing that can make me smile, is this song. I glance up from my book to see that one guy slowly exiting the library. He gives me a side glance before disappearing down the hall.

He's definitely one of the popular guys, no doubt. Although I've never seen him around, that's not a surprise. I'm always in my book or too focused on music to pay attention to people. Even though I have my headphones on full volume, I can tell the schools speakers come on. I slip off my headphones and slam my finger into my phone, pushing pause.

"Attention all high schoolers! This is not a drill-there has been a fire in the cafeteria! This is not a drill!" And the voice is cut off.

I sigh and collect my stuff, while everyone else is screaming and zooming around. I peacefully walk outside the building, where a few people are pacing the sidewalk.
