POV~Megan

People start coming and coming, and by 4:00 Henry tells me most everyone has arrived. I don't know that many people who come, or if I do know them they don't know me. Most of them are guys with their popular girlfriends.

Just as I settle into the couch next to Henry (whose playing cards with some of his dudes) with a pop and slice of pizza, Bella comes prancing in the house. She doesn't look especially sober...

"The party's here!" She yells, trembling into the room.

Henry rolls his eyes, and so do I. Then, my eyes travel down to her hands, which are holding a pack of beer. Henry must've seen it too, because he gasps and immediately runs up to her.

"Bella, you're going to need to leave. Now," he hisses.

She grins, and leans forward so he has no choice but to catch her.

"Chill-ax, Henry. Just bringing a little pizzazz to the party!"

He sharply sighs and steady's her. "Well, you can take your "pizzazz" and get out."

She laughs, and slams the beer to the floor; making it spill everywhere. I gasp and run to the kitchen to grab paper towels. I throw them to Henry, he catches them and presses them to the floor.

While he's doing that, I march up to the cackling Bella. "Look, Bella. You're going to need to get out of my house. NOW."

By now, people are quieting down and surrounding us.

Henry get's up, his foot still pressed against the paper towels. I've never seen him this mad in my entire life.

He turns to Bella. "GET. OUT. NOW."

She cackles one more time in his face, turns around, and slams the door as she leaves. Henry turns to me and sighs.

"Help me clean this up. Please?" He asks, his face twisting into anxiety.

I nod and we kneel down together, pressing our hands against the paper towels.

"I'll go get some stain and smell reducing smell," I mutter, getting up.

He sighs. "We don't have any."

I turn around, smirking. "I bought some when you told me the only rule at the grocery store."

He smiles softly. "You're the best."

I smirk and flip my hair. "I know."

As I walk in the kitchen, people begin to pick up their usual chatter again. I grab the spray and some new paper towels. I walk back to where Henry's at and we take off the paper towels, spray the spot, and layer on the new towels.

Once the spot is decently cleaned up, we keep the paper towels on and head back over to our spot.

The rest of the night goes well, people play games and eat food. For a high school party it's pretty chill, no body gets in fights or anything like that. Henry introduces me to some of his guy friends, and by the end of the night I'm laughing and snorting with everyone. People seem to find me pretty hilarious, not gonna lie.

I even end up winning a game of cards, which is cool because I hadn't ever played that kind of card game before. The guys better not have been letting me win or so help me...

It's 12:00, and everyone is gone except me. Henry and I are cleaning up the kitchen and living room, which won't take too long because his friends aren't slobs.

I smile at Henry, and he catches it and smiles back.

"This was fun," I comment.

He grins. "Definitely, but you know what made this party better than any other I've ever been to?"

I smirk back. "What?"

He blushes for a second, looks me in the eye and says, "You."

Without thinking about it I gasp and smile a little.

"Well, you're not bad yourself," I whisper.

He smiles and goes back to the dishes.

POV~Henry

Once we're all finished, Megan and I sigh in relief and collapse onto the couch. She turns to me with a worried look.

"My dad will probably be really mad at me..." she whispers.

I frown and lift her chin. "I can stay with you."

She shakes her head. "No, no I don't want to put that on you."

I laugh softly and shake my head. "I would..."

I pause.

"When I wake up, well I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man who wakes up next you
When I go out, yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who goes along with you
If I get drunk, well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who gets drunk next to you
And if I don't make much sense, well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man whose talking nonsense to you

But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles
To fall down at your door."

I get up, pulling her hands so she's up too. I smile and sway with her a little.

"When I'm working, yes I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's working hard for you
And when the money, comes in for the work I do
|I'll pass almost every penny on to you
When I come home well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who comes back home to you
And if I grow-old well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's growing old with you

But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles
To fall down at your door

Da da da (da da da)
Da da da (da da da)
Da da da dun diddle un diddle un diddle uh da
Da da da (da da da)
Da da da (da da da)
Da da da dun diddle un diddle un diddle uh da."

I stop, take a deep breath, and look up at her smiling softly.

"I would do...anything. If it meant you were safe."

She gasps, looking up into my eyes. Megan grins, moves her hands to the back of my head, leans in, and presses her lips to mine.
