POV~Megan
Henry follows me behind the counter, and we see the most popular and rich girls come waltzing into the Subway like they own the place. I roll my eyes and pull my hair back with my hair tie, which I took out after lunch hour.
The most popular one, I think her name is Bella? Comes over to Henry and smiles "shyly".
"Hey Henry." She giggles and reaches over the meats and cheeses to stroke his arm. He jerks his arm away instantly.
The two other girls move next to her and giggle too. How disgusting, their laughs are so fake.
"What do you want, Bella?" Henry asks annoyingly.
Bella blinks her eyes. "Henry, I just want a sandwich!"
He rolls his eyes and asks her, "What bread?"
When she makes her way over to me, she retracts in disgust. "Ew, who are YOU?"
I roll my eyes and slide her sandwich over to me. "I don't have time for fake people. What do you want on your sub?"
Her eyebrows furrow together in anger. "Look, I don't know what kind of GAME you're playing with me, but you should know Henry's MINE."
I smirk. "OK well, I don't see Henry RUSHING to you as soon as he sees you. In fact, I actually might've saw a look of disgust on his face." I give her a once over and lean into her face. "I don't blame him."
She puffs and stomps her foot. "Lettuce, cucumber, olives," she grumbles, moving over towards the register.
I shake my head, piling on the toppings. I hand her the sand which and do the rest of the girls' subs. I move to the register and type in all of their meals.
"Is this together?" I ask.
Bella scoffs. "Do you not know anything? My daddy is the MAYOR, of COURSE it's together."
I shake my head. "15.76 then."
Bella pulls out her purse and slaps a 20 on the counter.
"Keep the change, you're going to need it."
They all walk off, cackling. I take the 20 and shove it in the cash register, taking out the change and putting it in the tips jar.
"What a nut job," I mutter.
Henry moves over towards me and nods. "Just so you know, I'm not with her or anything. She's my uh, my ex."
I nod. "I could tell."
He runs his hand through his hair before he realizes he still has his gloves on. I take my gloves off and shake my head, trying not to smile. He cusses under his breath and goes to the bathroom. I look up to see, none other than, Nick Bile walk in. I curse and quickly grab my gloves, pulling them on.
"Well, well, well. Who do we have here?" He asks, moving towards me and smirking.
"Just, order your sandwich, Nick," I grumble.
"Oh, I don't want a sub." He grins and grabs both of my hands.
I try and get my hands away, but he's too strong. He finally releases me, and when I try to escape into the back door, he yanks my hair and pulls me into him.
"Let GO, Nick!" I yell, but he just pulls me closer.
My eyes tear up, but I push them away. I hear the bathroom door shut, and Nick whips around, carrying me with him.
"What do you think you're doing?" He asks, marching up to him.
"It's fine! I don't need help!" I yell.
Henry barely gives me a glance before taking a swing at Nick. I scream, and Nick throws me to the ground. I hit my head on the counter, and my vision goes blurry. I grasp my head, and once my vision clear look up to see them both throwing punches at each other.
"Stop it! Stop, both of you!" I scream, trying to get through them.
I'm too short though, so I can't get through to them. I yell in frustration, and out of the corner of my eye see the phone on the wall. I look to them, and the fight seems to be getting heated.
It'll be fine I tell myself, grabbing the phone from the wall. I quickly dial 911, and the operator picks up.
"911 can I help you?"
I take a deep breath. "Yes, there's a fight at the Subway on 22nd street, and it's getting pretty heated."
"We'll be there right away."
I've never called 911 before, so I just hang up on them. I wince, I don't think I'm supposed to do that.
A sharp fist slams into my back, and I moan out in pain. My body slams into the wall, and suddenly someone is dragging my feet.
"MEGAN!" I hear Henry scream.
The arms let go, and I stop. I groan, my breath shortening and pain shooting up and down my back. Police sirens are going off, and I slowly crawl under a table. Suddenly, I see Henry on the floor with Nick repeatedly punching him in the face. Ignoring all of the pain in my back, I run out to where he's doing it.
I climb on top of Nick, trying to pull him off of Henry.
"STOP! STOP IT NICK! You're hurting him!!! STOP!"
Nick brings his arm up and swats me off of him. I yell in frustration, and run over to kick Nick in the stomach. Repeatedly, I kick him and punch his back. Finally, Nick yells out in anger and pushes himself off of Henry.
"You think you can take me?! Well let me show you what happens now!" I yell and climb on top of the counters before he can do anything.
He grabs my ankle, sliding me off of the counter. He pulls me to the ground, but just then police knock down the door.
