POV~Megan

I walk to the Subway today, not wanting to get a ride from my dad. He's in a bad mood from yesterday and I don't think anything can change that. Even if I asked, he probably wouldn't give me a ride anyway.

I run into the restaurant, for some reason desperately looking around for Henry. That's not weird, right? I mean, I just want to see if he's OK. Nick was pretty rough on him, and he got pretty beat up. My eyes travel around the place, but it's completely empty. I sigh and flip around the open/close sign to open. The first person enters, and without hesitation I take his order.

At least 5 people have come and gone, before I see Henry come running in the Subway like he did yesterday. He bursts through the door, and looks up to smirk at me.

I roll my eyes. "You're late on the second day."

He smiles. "And I was late on the first."

My eyes travel up and down his body, taking in all of the bruises. Other than that, he looks pretty good. Pretty good?! What am I SAYING?!

I clear my throat. "Uh, you OK?"

He smiles softly. "Yeah, I'm good. Nick took some juice out of me, but nothing too bad. Besides, I still got my rockin biceps!"

He grins and rolls up his short sleeves, only to flex and kiss his arm. I shake my head and he looks up and flashes me a smirk. He's so cocky.

He comes behind the counter and slides on his plastic gloves. He grins at me again, and grabs something from his pocket, only to quickly hide it behind his back. I raise an eyebrow at him.

"OK, close your eyes Megalicious."

I roll my eyes, but retract a little. "First of all, I've told you a million times not to call me that. Second, I'm not closing my eyes."

He sighs. "Just do it."

I give him a once over, but obey. He places something on top of my head, and I slowly open my eyes. When they're fully open, he's smiling like crazy. I move my hands to my head, but Henry quickly takes them and lowers them.

"Ah ah ah, go look in the mirror. No touch."

I groan and march into the bathroom. Staring back at me in the mirror, is a girl with an odd looking hat on her head. I look closer and see that "Subway" is carefully written on it. Next to it is a drawing of a sub, then next to that is two guys fighting.

I slowly exit the bathroom, a surprised look crossing my face.

"Henry, these are...really good. The drawings are insane," I whisper.

He grins and, just for a second, pink seethes through his cheeks. "Thanks. I have one two."

He puts a copy of the hat on my head atop his own.

"I was thinking when something "crazy" happens we could add that scene to the hat." His face quickly goes white and sweat prickles on his forehead. "I mean, uh, if you want we don't have to it was just an idea I-"

I interrupt him. "Henry. It sounds wonderful."

He smiles softly, gazing into my eyes. Then, he blushes and returns to his usual smirk. "Hey, that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me. Actually, it might be the most words you've said to me."

I turn towards the register. "Well, I don't talk. It's easier to ignore."

He softly grabs my arm and twists me around. I'm surprised. Too surprised to pull away I guess.

"Hey, if I've learned one thing, ignoring isn't much easier than talking it out. Trust me, it'll work better in the long run."

I gulp and carefully pull my arm away. He doesn't hesitate to release me, which makes me comfortable. He smiles a quick one at me, and turns to the costumer coming forwards to order. I stare with surprise, my eyes wandering at nothing.
