POV~Henry

"OK, they're here," I mumble in the phone.

"Alright, stay where you are, they'll rescue you."

A beep comes from the other side of the phone, indicating she's hung up. Stomping and shouting come from downstairs, and I can tell there are a lot of policemen downstairs.

Suddenly, I hear footsteps coming up the stairs, and I quickly unlock the door. They come barreling in, and one of them takes Megan out of my arms. I almost punch the guy who took her, but then I realize he's a policeman. Good thing I didn't punch him...that would be bad.

"Did you take him away?" I ask one of the police.

He nods. "We're arresting him now."

I gesture to Megan. "Are you going to take her to the hospital?"

"Yes, an ambulance is parked outside, we'll bring her to them."

Once we get outside, I spot my parents pulling up into the driveway. When they get out of the car, they rush out of the car with a worried expression on both of their faces. They run up to me.

"What happened?!" My mom screams, placing her hands on my shoulders and shaking me.

"I...I..." I look over to the ambulance where they're loading Megan.

"I have to go!"

I run up to the ambulance, and at the last second hop in.

A doctor comes up to me. "Are you her family?"

I glance at Megan. "No, but she doesn't have any family besides her dad. And her dad...well..."

He nods. "Alright, are you her boyfriend?"

I blush and smile a little. "Yep, that's me."

He gives me a tight smile and goes back over to Megan, gathering more nurses to take care of her. I sigh and plop myself on the bench next to her. Then, the back ambulance doors fly open, and my parents quickly get in and slide next to me.

"We're here for you and Megan no matter what," my mom whispers, placing a small kiss on my head.

My dad smiles. "Yup. But you WILL tell us what happened."

I grin and nod. "I will...just...just not now."

They nod back as the doctor glances at us.

"You all are lucky this ambulance is one of the bigger ones or else only one of you would be able to stay," the doctor mumbles.

I chuckle a little and look over to passed-out Megan. Her poor arm is wrapped up in bandages and one of the nurses is trying to explain to me what's happening. I hope my parents are listening because I have no idea what she's talking about.

Suddenly, the ambulance starts up and we're zoomed off to the hospital.

....2 hours later....

I'm pacing the waiting room back and forth, debating if I should just walk right in Megan's room. They forced me and my parents out when we got here, and they've been working on her for hours now.

As if on cue, a doctor walks out of her room and nods at me. "You can come in now."

I let out a breath of relief and speed walk into her room, pushing past the doctor. I know I shouldn't push past a doctor but, I mean c'mon, it's Megan.

When I rush over to Megan's bedside, I see that she's still sleeping. She looks so peaceful...in a hospital sort of way.

The doctor faces me. "So, she's going to be fine, but she's on a lot of medication. She probably won't wake up for a couple of hours."

I nod. "Did she lose a lot of blood?"

He looks down at his clipboard. "Well, not too much, but she did lose a decent amount. She'll be fine, and able to go home in at least 3 days."

I let out a sigh of relief and look back to Megan.

The doctor hesitates. "Is there someone who I can discuss...paperwork with?"

"My parents are in the waiting room," I reply, not looking up from Megan's beautiful face.

When I hear the door close shut, I let tears fill my eyes. I lay my head on her bed and inhale her perfume. It's there, but mostly covered up by a hospital/clean smell.

I smile softly and place my hand on her cheek, stroking it a little. With my spare hand I take hers lightly, tracing my thumb along her hand.

"But you'll never be alone
I'll be with you from dusk till dawn
I'll be with you from dusk till dawn
Baby, I am right here

I'll hold you when things go wrong
I'll be with you from dusk till dawn
I'll be with you from dusk till dawn
Baby, I am right here."

I sing softly and quietly, trying not to cry at the end.

I lean in and whisper, "I promise I'm not going anywhere."
