Chapter 10 - I can't believe it

Corys Pov:

I'm now back at home and when I walked into the living room, I couldn't help but smile when I saw that Lucy is sleeping on the couch.

I leaned down to look at her and she suddenly wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me down, on top of her.

"Did someone miss me?" I asked with a laugh and she hummed in response.

"Your moms were out and I was alone the whole time." she whined.

"We can watch a movie?" I said and she smiled.

"Sure." she said while sitting up and wrapping her arms around my waist, causing me to fall on her lap.

"What do you wanna watch?" she asked while her eyes flickered between my eyes and lips which made me nervous.

"Frozen II?" I suggested with a small grin and she chuckled.

Lucys Pov:

We're now sitting next to each other while watching the movie.

"I can't believe it." I complain while putting my hands on my face.

I can't believe I'm crying because of a movie.

"Lucy?" she called me but I shook my head.

She then pulled my hands away and smiled at me. "You're too cute." she said while cupping my cheeks and wiping my tears away.

"Why didn't get Elsa and Honeymaren together?" I asked with a sigh.

"I don't know, Luc." she replied and I smiled at the nickname.

She then pulled away and grabbed my hand. I intertwined our fingers and laid my head on her shoulder.

"C- Can I ask you something?" I asked her and she looked down to me.

"Sure." She replied with a smile.

"Does Lars like you?" I shyly asked.

"What?" Cory asked with a chuckle.

"It's just..you two seemed really close in those Instagram storys from Abby." I explained and she shook her head.

"Yeah, we're pretty close..but just as friends." she told me and I nodded

"No need to worry." she whispered and then kissed my temple.

I couldn't help but smile when she kissed me and snuggled a bit more into her.

"And why would I be worried?" I asked her while looking up at her and raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know. Why don't you tell me?" Cory teased and I rolled my eyes with a small smile.

If I would lean in a bit..our lips would touch..

My eyes widened when I realized what I'm doing so I quickly pulled away. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" I apologised and quickly stood up.

"I..uh..I'll go outside for a bit." I mumbled and was about to walk out the door when I feel her holding onto my wrist.

I turned around and the next thing I know is that Cory cupped my cheeks.

"Don't you dare to run away from me." she whispered while caressing my cheeks and I took a deep breath.

She then leaned in and kissed me softly. My eyes immediately closed when her lips touched mine and I couldn't help but smile into the kiss.

Cory then pulled away and smiled at me shyly. "W- Was I your first kiss?" I asked her and she slowly nodded.

"You were mine too." I told her which made her smile.

"So there's really nothing going on between you and Lars?" I asked while wrapping my hands around her waist.

"There's nothing going on between us. I promise." Cory told me and I smiled.

"Well..he used to like me..and I think he still does.." she said while we sat back down on the couch.

"H- He likes you?" I asked softly and she nodded.

"But I don't like him. And besides, I only like girls. One girl." Cory said which made me smile widly.

I kissed her cheek and then laid my head on her shoulder.

"Btw..how was it at Abbys house?" I asked while looking up at her.

Her eyes start to tear up and I quickly turned my whole body to her.

"Oh my god, what happened?" I asked worried and she wiped her tears away.

"Well..as soon as I were there, Lars and Rob stared talking about you." Cory started and I raised an eyebrow.

She then explained me what happened and as soon as she was finished, I pulled her into a hug.

"I'm so sorry, babe." I said and the word just slipped out.

She buried her face in my neck and I can feel her wet tears on my skin.

"Shh..everything is going to be fine." I whispered while stroking her back.

Cory then lifted her head and I gently cupped her cheeks and wiped her tears away.

"Please don't cry. You're way too beautiful to cry." I told her and she smiled.

"Can we watch another movie?" she asked while pouting.

"Of course." I said with a smile and she smiled too.

We then started the movie 'White Chicks' and Cory laid down on her back, so that the back of her head was against the armrest.

She spread her arms with a smile as a sign for me to lay in them. I smiled too and then laid down on top of her, in her arm.

I turned my head to the side, so I could watch the movie and she did the same.

I really like cuddling with her. It makes me relax and feel safe.

"I swear Lisa was in love with Karen." I said and she laughed.

"Not everyone is gay, Luc." she replied with a chuckle.

"But when Karen talked about loving someone, Lisa looked at her with that look. It was just so obvious." I explained and Cory chuckled.

"Maybe you're right." she said and started playing with my hair.

Then suddenly the front door opened and we quickly sat up and scooted away from each other.
