Chapter 23 - Guess who's back?

Corys Pov:

| October 30th | Wednesday |

It's been nearly a week since I last saw Lucy. Ma told me that Margot is thinking about everything and maybe Lucy will be back soon.

I'm currently in Abbys car and we're driving to the airport to pick up Felix.

His exchange year starts today and Abby is soo exited to finally meet him in person.

I'm also exited to meet him. I know I saw him one week ago but I never got to talk to him.

After a few minutes we arrived at the airport and walked inside. Abbys started to become nervous so I took her hands.

"Abby, relax. You two talked for months now and we all know he likes you just as much you like him." I told her and she smiled.

She then took a deep breath and I squeezed her hands before letting them go.

We've been waiting here for ten minutes now and he will be here any minute.

I'm sitting on a bench while looking at my phone and Abby is sitting next to me while nervously tapping her foot.

She then started slapping my arm and I groaned. "What?" I asked annoyed while looking up.

My eyes widened when I saw that Felix wasn't alone.

"Lucy?" I whispered while slowly standing up.

I run over to her and she let her suitcase go to hug me. I wrapped my arms around her neck and she put her arms around my waist.

After a few minutes I pulled away from her and kissed her passionately.

"What are you doing here?!" I asked as we pulled away.

"Well..I guess your mom opened my aunts eyes. She booked me a flight here and now I'm back." Lucy answered and I couldn't help but smile widly.

"You don't know how happy I am right now."

"Oh believe me, I know. I can simply see it." she teased and I chuckled.

"So..you're gonna live with me again?" I asked and she nodded with a smile.

I then gently cupped her cheeks and laid my forehead against hers.

"I love you." I whispered while closing my eyes.

"I love you too."

"Hey, girls!" I suddenly hear Abby call us and we pulled away and looked at her.

I couldn't help but smirk when I noticed that she and Felix are holding hands.

"You guys wanna come over to my place after I dropped Felix off at his host family." Abby asked.

"Um..actually can you maybe drive to my place after dropping Felix off? Lucy can put her suitcase in my room and I want to see my moms reaction." I replied and everyone laughed.

"Sure." Abby responded and I walked over to Felix.

"Hey, I don't think we correctly met. I'm Cory, Abbys best friend." I said and shook hands with him.

"Nice to finally meet you." he replied with a smile.

"Nice to finally meet you too."

We're now at my place after dropping of Felix and we three got inside my house.

"I'm home!" I yelled and my moms walked towards me. Their eyes widened when they saw Lucy.

"Oh my god." they both said shocked at the same time and we laughed.

"Guess who's back?" Lucy said and they smiled while walking towards her and pulling her into a hug.

"We missed you." Mom said and she smiled widly.

"I missed you guys too."

"And thank you so much for talking to my aunt, Noelle .I think if you wouldn't have talked to her, I probably would still be in Germany." Lucy said and Ma smiled.

"You're welcome."

We're now at Abbys place and are just sitting on her couch and are watching tv until Felix gets here.

The bell then suddenly ringed and Abby got up and opened the door.

She was greeted by Felix and he then walked in and flopped down on the couch next to me.

"Sup." he said and Lucy and I chuckled.

"Hey."

"So..my host family said that an amusement park just opened and..do you guys wanna go there?" Felix asked and we all agreed.

"Let's go!"
